Broken windows.
Broken boards.
A hole in the wall.
Shattered glass.

He has destroyed everything in his path and he's numb to the damage he caused. Numb to the pain he feels on the knuckles that seem to be bleeding but the pain of it blocked by the overflowing adrenaline. He can't fit in that caged room anymore , besides, it's too late to hide what he's become, what he's always been. He can hear their not so subtle whispers even though they try to hide it, try to pretend the strange man isn't the topic of their conversation. He can sense the fear in their eyes when they look at him, he can feel their entire body tense when he walks past. They don't know what's become of him , what happened to him and that's the part that scares them the most.

The fear of the unknown has driven the towns people to madness. Even beyond the point he's already reached. The man pities and envies them all at once. They don't know the struggle of having to live two lives, they don't know what it likes to be looked at as monster, as a vicious animal on the loose. He's tried to deny that part of him for a long time but he can no longer hide his truth.

Three Local Girls Missing: Linked To Mountain Attacks

The headline of today's paper, every week the news editor comes up with a catchy phrase to name the gruesome horror that has taken place within the town. A thought crosses his mind that maybe he should be ashamed but he can't control it, the more he denies that part of him the stronger it becomes and he hates the pain that follows after when he tries to deny it. He's let the beast in him be set free and he feels bliss with that fact alone. He was afraid someone would find out, that they'd figure out his secret. That they'd ask them self the obvious questions. The ones they should've been considering two months ago when the darkness swept over the town and turned it into a lion's den

Why does he buy chains everyday?
How come he never comes out at night?
He seems to disappear for while and then suddenly appear from nowhere
Where's his family?
Why is he always alone?

Finishing his paper, he sets it on the table and makes his way to the door, the one that keeps his secret place locked up. The locks are on the opposite side of the door, not to keep people from entering, but to keep whatever goes in from getting out. Isaac, the strange man, never knows who or rather what would come out once he goes in for the night. And the possibilities of what could happen if that thought became a reality drove him to be overly paranoid and chain every door and window in the house. Many refer to it as the shadow house because no light every comes from it. It just sits in the neighborhood resembling a dark hole that has opened up from the earth's core.

The fresh set of scratches on the door, mixed with blood and wood indicate that his secret place has had a recent visitor, this one more persistent than the others. He had a struggle controlling this one. All he remembers is the pain he felt trying to keep it at bay but eventually he just let it go, tired of struggling and already knowing the fate of what would take place once the chains came off. But luckily the door, his trusted door, was there to keep it from escaping. This time though it's different, he can feel it in his bones. Tonights a special night for his kind.

Halloween.

The night when everyone walks around pretending to be the thing their scared of the most, or the very thing they always dreamed to be. This night is dedicated to both parts of him. A night of where he's celebrated for he is as a whole and not pieces of himself. That's what rages him the most, the disrespect to his inner self. He has no control of what he his. He was born that way, he didn't choose this lifestyle. It choose him and he's decided to let it be apart of his life. But the outside world would call him a freak, a sick part of nature if they know what he really was. If they knew what he had to endure on this halloween night. No one would ever understand him or it so he created his secret place. There he could be free but not too free to expose his secret.

Sitting down his bag, he takes out the new chains he bought for tonight. He spreads them across the floor and wrapps them around the poles on either side of the room. Tonight he'll the need the entire room to contain himself. He sets out his favorite toys, he likes to play with those on nights like this. His old ones are gone, sometimes he gets too carried away, which makes him angry.

More self control is what he constantly tells himself but he's just started to explore this part of himself so he understands that everything will only get better as the nights pass. He promises himself to take his time tonight. He doesn't have to rush this time, he has all night unlike others where he has to finish early to not disturb the neighbors. They've already made one complaint about his disturbances so he can't afford to draw too much attention to himself.

Isaac makes his way over to the door and locks it. Then he approaches his special closet. Taking out his three prized possessions. He's had these for about two weeks, he normally keeps them for one and gets rid of them. But something about these he wanted to keep, save them for tonight.
"Please dont, please" Little Brittany from across the street begins her pleas first. Issac just wanted to show her something special first like he'd promised when he lured her and her other two friends through his backyard.

"Just let us go we promise we won't tell" Adlyn, the pretty redhead cried while clinging to Brittany. Issac thought they'd like it down here. He was starting to get angry and that was never good.

"W-we just want to go home" They always do.

That's the same song they've been singing since they reached the house. Isaac gets very annoyed when his toys want to leave. He thought they was having as much fun as he was. That's all he wanted out of this. Fun. But when his toys get disrespectful then he has to get rid of them. And that hurts isaac's feelings because it takes a lot of planning and courage to get them, and now they want to leave.

"We're just going to play a game girls, just one rule. NO screaming." Issac's building frustration was soon replaced with excitement. He sharpened his last blade with a sinister smirk across his face , ready to begin his games, hoping his toys followed the rules or things would have to get a bit- messy.

But in the end they always scream, and Isaac loses control, destroying his toys in the process. Don't worry though, next week he's going to go shopping for some new toys.
