He's twisting and turning on his bed
His thoughts resurrecting like undead
Staring the sky outside his window pane
Engulfing in that void, losing his sane
He thinks:
Sun never sleeps, maybe it's just a farce
Because if he didnt, it wouldn't turn dark
He's lost from sky, appearing to be stark
Now there's black sky, the Selene and the stars
Nyx is melodramatic pushing the sun away
She doesn't appear when he stays
Distancing herself from his warm morning beams
Complaining about his harmful rays she screams
She covers the horizon before the morning glory
Maybe she and Apollo are 'Ares and Aphrodite of story'
Good together but not forever
Eternal together but not for eachother
Trying to hold but pushing away farther
And when the sun is fed up, it gets darker
He opens his windows and stares the dark sky
Thinking of the ways he could fly
So he'd go up and ask her "why she hates the sun so much?"
Is it an age old feud, is she holding a grudge
Or lack of connection, lack of trust
Or is sun tacky, unable to adjust?
Perhaps it's some age old curse, they'll carry to their hearse
That the sun and the night won't be together in this universe
In every universe nyx falls for Apollo and in every universe they don't end up together
Concluding his thoughts putting end to his story
He gets up from his bed because it's 5 AM already
And the lonely sun is showing up slowly
