The little girl looked at the black magic before right into Y/n's eyes
"I'm scared!" The girl whined
"It's going to be okay!" Y/n yelled as the magic sucked the three Blue Rose Knights away
"Sol's gone!" someone cried
"Captain Charlotte!" another yelled
"Please come back," the young girl whispered
It felt like forever before Y/n was dropped from the sky by the same magic that had taken her away. She landed perfectly on her feet before quickly standing up and taking in her surroundings
Nozel, Solid, Nebra, Charlotte, Sol, Klaus, Mimosa, Hamon, Alecdora, and Siren had also been taking by the strange magic
"My my, where are we?" Hamon questioned
"I would guess we're a few hundred yards from the Royal capital, judging by the terrain here," Siren replied
"WE HAVE FAILED!" shouted Alecdora
Everyone tried using their individual magic to get back to the capital but no luck. Some were getting frustrated that they could get back (*cough* Alecdora *cough*)
"Hey guys! Calm down," Y/n addressed the group. "I don't think we'll get back to the capital working individually. We have to combine our magic together."
Nebra scoffed. "Like I'd want to ride with a commoner." Solid snickered beside her
Charlotte stepped forward. "You are right Y/n. As much as I hate working with men, we must get back to the capital."
The other magic knights combined their magic together to make one powerful transportation spell. Y/n didn't feel like riding with the others considering most of them didn't like her so she summoned her golden eagle and hopped on
"May I join you for the ride back?"
Y/n looked down to meet the purple eyes of Nozel
"What? Nozel!" Nebra exclaimed
"It's doesn't matter to you who I ride with Nebra," Nozel replied without looking at her
Y/n held out her hand and helped him up onto the eagle's back
And soon, they were off. Soaring through the skies back to the capital
Y/n and Nozel were in front on Y/n's eagle while the others were behind. Captain Charlotte was giving the two a soft smile, so was Mimosa. Though most of the looks burning into Y/n's back were anything but nice
"She thinks she can just be close to Nozel like that?" Solid whispered to Nebra
"He shouldn't be associating himself with commoners, especially her," Nebra whispered back
"We'll prove to Nozel how awful she is," they said in unison
Up ahead, Nozel was having a quiet conversation with Y/n
Well, trying to
"So how are the Blue Rose Knights?"
"Good."
"I wish you'd chosen the Silver Eagles."
"Mhm."
"You would've been a great addition to the squad."
"Uh huh."
"Is everything okay Y/n?"
"Uh huh. You do realize that if I joined the Silver Eagles, they would've most definitely kill me?"
Y/n gestured back to the other two members of the Silver Eagles, who were both glaring at the h/c girl
"No they wouldn't have. I know you can handle yourself," Nozel said, looking at Y/n while she kept her gaze forward
The conversation died down to an uncomfortable silence. Nozel was much affected by the silence between him and his favorite person. Y/n, couldn't care less about the silence and how awkward it was
Nozel cleared his throat before speaking again. "So how's the training going with Noelle?"
"Oh so you care now do you?" Y/n scoffed. "You didn't seem to care the last few times we've talked."
"I just didn't know the right time to ask," Nozel said sheepishly
"Uh huh."
The conversation fell silent again. Neither Y/n nor Nozel said anything for the rest of the journey back to the capital
After about 30 more minutes, they made it back to the Royal Capital. They were able to locate the nearest people thanks to Mimosa's magic, with happened to be Leopold, Noelle, Asta and Captain Fuegoleon
Although the sight they were greeted with was less than pleasant
In fact, it was horrifying
Noelle was the only one standing. Asta and Leopold were unconscious on the floor
As for Captain Fuegoleon......
"CAPTAIN FUEGOLEON!"
That scream came from Y/n's mouth
She quickly landed the eagle and she and Nozel quickly hopped of as Y/n immediately ran over to his side, kneeling down next to him
"What happened to you?" Y/n said quietly as she opened her grimoire
"Galaxy Magic: Apollo's Healing Song"
Y/n started singing the song as a golden light surrounded Fuegoleon
Klaus brought Asta and Leopold, over to Y/n so she could heal them as well. Everyone in the area stared with the young girl, absolutely entranced by her amazing singing skills. Even Alecdora, Nebra, Solid and Sol were melting at the sound of her voice
After a while, Y/n's song ended and she stood up and faced the group
"I've done all I can do," she said sadly. "Captain Fuegoleon is just barely alive. He will need to be taken to the infirmary in the castle with me and the wizard king."
While she was talking something sticky suck to Asta's unconscious form and pulled him away
"ASTA!" Noelle shouted
"This isn't over," one of the hooded figures said. "We, the members of the Eye of the Midnight Sun will destroy the magic knights."
They then disappeared, with Asta
No one moved, no one spoke. Everyone stared at where they disappeared
"No. Asta," Noelle said quietly
Y/n put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Well get him back. Don't worry!" She smiled
Noelle look up and nodded determinedly.
"Now if you'll excuse me," Y/n addressed the others. "I must get Fuegoleon and Leopold to the infirmary."
She bowed before standing up walking over to the Vermillion brothers, using her magic to gently lift the two brothers before walking back toward the castle
As she walked, she looked down at the two of them
'Please be okay'
