Ok so for the lore y/n was a marine biologist in training and was exploring a cave when they came across a body of water they saw beautiful crystals and gems everywhere when suddenly they felt a stab on their arm. They didn't know what to do when the spider had bit them as they had never seen one like it. So they put it in a little container and took it home to study it.
