The sound of Cyrus's voice scared both of them making them jump. "You two better have a good reason for leaving." Turning to see Cyrus was sitting at the kitchen table staring them down with hard look.
They didn't speak looking at the floor. Cyrus stands up walking over to them raising his voice making the poor girl hide into Kai who was glaring at him
"I asked a question and I expected an answer." Tears filled her eyes as she never made him this mad nor has he ever spoke to her like this.
"It was my fault don't get like that with her. She was only doing what I said. But Cyrus we need to-" Cyrus picked her up wiping the tears from her face as they headed to his room. "Please Cyrus we really need to talk."
Cyrus ignores him leaving the beaten up Kai stressing in the kitchen. Handing her one of his shirts turning around to let her change. Letting her get into the bed with him climbing in after. After a while she finally speaks up "Daddy I'm sorry"
She can't see anything but can feel his eyes hearing him sigh "Angel please Just sleep we'll talk in the morning." Pulling her into him falling asleep while she lays there hugging his neck tightly listening to his breathing as it slowly put her sleep.

"Theia what's going on why are we leaving?" She got up quickly putting the clothes on as Theia didn't say anything just grabbed her hand pulling her out the room seeing her dad scream at Kai who was looking down.
