"And this is an E minor, and we can repeat the same hand gesture for A minor but just one string down. Got it?" Ella asked the twins, the three of them were sat comfortably on the Stone family's couch.
Ella held her guitar in hand, strumming one chord before changing to the next.
"Promise to teach me later?" Olive asks as Cal takes the guitar from her and attempts it by himself.
"Of course, after you do your homework though. Speaking off, it's dinner time. Come on, what yall wanna eat" Ella smiles
'I had known the Stone family since I was a toddler, they were the best neighbours. I often babysat their twins Olive and Cal while Ben and Grace would run errands, go to work or just if in need of a date night. I loved these two to bits
"Mom said you can order a pizza tonight" Cal quipped
"Pizza sounds awesome, now all in favour of cheese" Ella raised her hand along with the twins who sported happy grins. Who didn't love pizza?
Ella grabbed her phone, quickly dialling Tony's pizzeria, the best place for New York-style pizza.
"Hey, Andre. Imma needs two medium pizzas. Yea got a couple of pizza-loving twins who are in dire need of food. Yeah, they might target me if they don't get food soon. Yeah, both cheese, one of them should be half cheese half sausage. Aha, yeah. OOoo drinks, what yall want?" Ella turns to the twins
"Fanta!"
"Pepsi!"
"Yeah, got that? And another Pepsi for me. Also, 5 of your famous chocolate chip cookies. Mhm, yes. That's it, okay? See ya" Ella ends the call and tosses her phone to the side as Olive jumps on her, causing the girl to fall back. Ella loved how childish the two were for 13-year-olds. Everyone in this generation just wanted to grow up.
"Now, we have two options. We can watch a movie or we can build a fort and then watch a movie."
"FORT!" the two yell and rush to get blankets, leaving the sprawled-out girl who sighs. Ella's phone dings, as she grabs it and checks. 5 unread messages from her agent, and 2 from Grace.
Ella opens Grace's contact, reading the woman's reminders on what medicine she had to make Cal take which was already saved on the back of her head.
Moving to her agent, Mark's contact, she read through his confirmations on her vacation days. The Agency had given her vacation time to join the Stones on their Jamaica trip and she was ecstatic.
She had finished pre-recording her first track, so she was free for a bit. This same week, she would be travelling for a Jamaica vacation after Ben and Grace begged her to join. They saw her as one of them so why wouldn't they invite her?
Ella got up as the twins rushed in with the materials, as they began their work. And might she say, the result was tear-drawing.

By the time they were done, the food had arrived. Perks of being a regular. Let's just say, everyone hogged, their eyes on the tv that displayed Man of Steel. Cal watched the super cool fight scenes while Olive and Ella talked quietly about Henry Cavill.
What, he was a masterpiece and that's just a fact.
The three were sprawled with stuffed bellies and a full expressions by the time the movie finished. Ella turned to her right, seeing a fast-asleep Olive, same on the left for Cal. She knew she had to wake the boy up to take his medications so gently she pat his shoulder.
"Hey, Cal. Wake up please, you gotta take your meds," she spoke softly. Cal's eyes stayed shut the first time, until he finally opened them, rubbing groggily.
"I know bud, just take it quick and you can go to bed" she bargained. He nodded and accepted the girl's help to stand up before the two went to the kitchen. Ella opened his medicine basket, pulling out his specified medicine.
Handing each one's designated amount to him as he filled a glass of water before taking each.
"There, now you can sleep peacefully. Goodnight Cal" She smiled and he gave her her goodnight hug before walking to his room.
Ella woke Olive next, giving her her nighttime hug before she to went to her bedroom. Ella got to work, removing all the fairy lights, throwing out the pizza boxes, folding the blankets, tidying up the living room and putting everything in its place.
The sound of keys rattling brought her attention to the door where Grace and Ben walked.
"Thanks so much for taking this on last minute," Ben said gratefully as he hugged the girl.
"No problem, I love these two to bits. Besides they are quite fun to spend time with" Ella says honestly.
"You like their big sister. Oh did Call take hi-"
"His medications? Yea, all four. I also ordered pizza, was that fine? Cal told me you guys allowed it" Ella asks
"Oh yeah, no problem. How much was it?" As Ben went to pull out his wallet, Ella immediately stopped him
"No way, my treat. It ain't like I'm spending my time here unwillingly. And now I better head home or my watchman will yell at me, see ya this Thursday" Ella saluted as she sped out the door before Ben could say anything.
Grace laughed at her husband's expression.
"She's something, I'm happy our kids have someone like her in their lives" Grace sighs leaning into Ben who places an arm around her and hums in agreement.
