(chapter 9) Would you like to go out?

3rd pov:

 After a long talk with Carmen and Ivy, Player decided to ask her out.

"Hey, Player, wnat to smash some people in fortnite"

"Yeah, sure, but i need to ask you smth first"

"Go on, i'm listening"
"You know what, let's play first, my...thing can wait"

"Whatever"

After they won the Victory Rayal in duo mode (as always), they closed the game and started talking about other stuff.

"Hey, Player, you wanted to ask me smth, right?"

"Yeah, about that, well, Redcode_404, (your nickname in the crew and in fortnite) would you maybe consider going out with me, in a cafe, i mean, i haven't seen you in a while...huh..."

"You're right, we don't see each other aside from the internet, we should definently meet in person"

"So...it's a date..."

"A what?..."

From the awkwardness of what he had just said, he closed the phone imideatly

Player's pov:

I can not believe that i said that, i mean what if she calls back...

OMG SHE CALLS BACK!!!  

what sould i do? Umm,ohh, i'll type to her

~sorry, but i can't talk right now, i'll pick you up tomorrow at 5pm, if you want, i mean...~ (he typed)

~yeah...hah, suree~

Omg, i'm going on a date, wait, why is mom calling.

"Hey sweet heart, i haven't heard from you for a while, how are you doing? Last time we spoke was years ago, you know, i returned to the city a while ago, only for a week, would you like to meet with me tomorrow? It's completely okey if you don't want to, i know that things have been really awkward between us two, what do you think? I hope that you will at least give me a second chance, right?"

"Mom, which question do you want me to answer to first? Okey, anyhow, i'm fine and no, i think that meeting would make things more complecated, i hope you enjoy yourself, here in the same old city, but don't even try to find me, i moved out of there years ago, so..."

"i understand, but i'm you mother and i have the right to see my son, don't i?"

"You do, but i don't feel like it, besides,  tomorrow i have an arangment, okey? I can't."

"Omg, my little son is going on a date? Fianlly, you met somebody, what a releaf>"

"Mom, how did you..."

"Mom knows and uderstands everything"

"Anyway, have a good time, but don't try to find me"

"Yeah,sure, but-"

"I said no, i'm about to becoming 19 in a week, i make my own rules, bye?

"Goodbye my sweetheart"

3rd pov:

Now you may think what happened with them two, that he doesn't want to see or hear her, well...

Whan she was married to Player's father, she was cheeting on him, once, Player caught them in the bedroom, her with her lover, she asked if Player could keep it in a secret, but Player couldn't, he couldn't betray his father like this, so one day he told his father the trooth and he got a heart attack, Player still blames himself about his father's death, but he can't forgive his mother that didn't even come to the funeral, cause she was with her lover.
