"Bex..." The boy started. "Rebekah... It is I... Please do say you remember me?"

Rebekah couldn't help but look into his eyes, the blank stare of the brother she lost a thousand years ago peering back up at her. "How is this–? This is not–"

"Please, sister," Henrik begged, taking a step closer to his sister. "It is I. Please, say my name. Know me."

"Henrik," Rebekah finally spat out, her heels clicking against the concrete as she continued to back up. "I do not understand how this is even possible."

Once he heard his sister speak his name, he couldn't help but to dive into his sister's arms, tears threatening to fall from his hazel eyes. He interlocked his fingers behind her, pulling her closer. Slowly, Rebekah returned his hug, feeling something that she never thought she would feel again: her little brother's touch.

"Sister?" She looked up, watching as he detangled himself from her hold. "What is today? The year? How did we move so quickly? Just moments ago, we were just near the field, so now we are here?"

Before she could answer any of his questions, her ears twitched, picking up the harsh footsteps getting closer and closer to their hidden spot. She was about to speed off, but she remembered... Henrik was no vampire... he was human. Within a second, she took his hand into her hold, and then they were off.

"This is ridiculous, Elyza! We have waited for weeks until the return of Bonnie Bennett, just as you proposed; however, we have no need to remain any longer. This one witch could mean the downfall of us all."

Seeing his brother itch closer and Elyza's eyebrows fur in anger, Kol sped in front of her, staring Elijah head-on. "We know, Elijah. It's been the same exact speech for weeks. But if Lyza wishes to remain, I am not understanding the harm in allowing her so. You want to run and cower in fear. Fine, do that, but do not condemn the rest of us to that fate."

"This is not condemnation, brother," Finn stood, taking his place at Elijah's side. This is for the protection and survival of us all. Did you not die as I did, at the hands of her friends? Our existence is the only thing that we should be concerned with.

Klaus sighed and rose, deciding to end the squabble before it ended as the last ones did. "Ah, Kol. We swore to one another that we would not separate. What sense does it make to turn back on our own word now?"

"So what, pray tell, Nik, do you say?" Elyza asked, pushing past Kol's protective arm. "Should we stick together here or in New Orleans? California or Miami. France or England! We've run. We've always run. Why not just stay?"

"Because it is not safe, Elyza," Elijah snapped.

"Lower your tone when speaking to my wife, Elijah," Kol bit back, his vampire face revealing itself.

"Brothers! And Elyza..." Rebekah started, walking into the door hesitantly.

Klaus sped in front of Kol, forcing the young original to face him instead of Elijah. "This has gone on for far too long. We shall wait until everyone has taken a moment of rest and raise this issue again tonight."

"Niklaus–"

Elijah nodded, his attention focused on his little brother. "Very well, Niklaus."

Elyza moved from behind the two protective Mikaelson brothers, rolling her eyes. "Who the hell is this?"

Rebekah moved farther into the room, grabbing the boy by his shoulders and guiding him with her. "Although I've been trying to get your attention for about three minutes now, I believe there is an additional matter that needs to be discussed. Family... this is Henrik."

When Rebekah made her announcement, she slid to the side, revealing their previously dead little brother. His eyes widened as he saw his entire family looking back at him. "Niklaus?" He called out softly.

The hybrid stumbled forward, his attention disappearing from Elijah and reappearing at the brother whose death rested solely on his hands.

"Henrik?"

Henrik took off, temporarily ignoring the rest of his siblings. Klaus kneeled a little, allowing his brother to meet him at his height. The youngest Mikaelson took this chance and buried his head into Klaus's shoulder, allowing himself to cry. He had no idea how long it's been, but it felt like forever. "It was so dark."

Klaus slowly rubbed the boy's back. He quickly wiped away a tear of his own, deciding that this moment, this very moment was just for him. "It's okay. You're home now."

The remaining Mikaelsons looked at each other, either with teary eyes or confusion plastered on their faces. "Henrik? Brother?"

Klaus slowly let the boy go, deciding that his other family members deserved a chance to see him too. Elijah, the person behind the voice, took him into his hold as well. Once everyone got a chance to speak their welcome and shed their tears, Elijah took back control of the situation.

"We should get him new clothes. First, you should shower, brother, and then–"

"Please, Nik..." Klaus's eyes immediately found Henrik's. "Tell me how you all are alive. You all... you have not aged a day. It is as if time stood still."

"Mother," Klaus said simply. Henrik glanced around, wondering if maybe he was calling her name rather than an answer to his question. "Brother, I will love to explain this all to you but first, I suppose you're hungry."

"Where is Mother? Is she too alive in this life?" Rebekah noticed the look on her hybrid brother's face. "And how did Rebekah and I make it here so fast from so far away? Is this magic?"

"The short answer to that question is, as well, Mother," Kol started. "The slightly longer answer is yes. Rebekah used a form of magic to get you two here so quickly."

"I did not see you use a spell, sister. You have grown powerful in your craft," He smiled, nodding at her. "However, I must know. What is today? How much time has passed?"

"Brother," Klaus called. "How about I give you that answer while I show you the home? Wouldn't you like to see your room?"

Henrik nodded, glancing over at a weird metal thing sitting on the table. "And that brother? What is it?"

Klaus chuckled as he grabbed Henrik's hand. "That's called a laptop."

Elyza sat on top of the counter as Kol sat silently in the chair before her. She slid off and joined him at the table, brushing a stray hair from in front of his face. "A penny for your thoughts, my love?"

"Something bad is about to happen, Elyza."

The heretic raised an eyebrow. "Care to elaborate?"

"I can't. I just know that something is about to go horribly wrong."
