Chapter 1 Welp looks like I got isekai'd

The song at the beginning of the chapter is basically my theme song the next chapter will have a playlist typed out of songs that I listened to or I think fit my character well.

I slowly came to when I heard mumbling. "That must be Grim." I whispered. "I better hurry up and find that uniform before someone spots me. Urrgh.... This lid weighs a ton." Grim mumbled. I started pushing the coffin lid open before he could set it on fire. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?! KILL ME?! BAD GR- I MEAN BAD CAT!" I screamed when I finally got the lid off right as Grim was getting ready to blow fire at the coffin. "What? How are you already awake? Whatever that doesn't matter. Give me those robes or else I'll fry ya." Grim said with a smirk. "Nope not happening cause I am literally wearing the bare minimum underneath meaning a sports bra and some short shorts. So no not happening little dude." I said with a huff. Grim didn't look to pleased with how I said that and for telling him no. "Well I guess it's fry time for you." Grim smiled mischievously. I don't like the look of that smile so I did what any sane woman would do and I turned around and bolted. "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE CAT!!! SOMEONE HELP A CAT THAT BREATHES FIRE IS CHASING ME!!" I screamed as I was running. I kept running towards the library like in the actual game but I know that it is not a game anymore. It is very much real because I can feel the heat of Grim's fire. I pushed open the library doors panting in exhaustion. "Fuck I hate running... I know I didn't truly lose Grim but I hope I can at least catch my breath." I said out of breath. "YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD OUT RUN ME HUMAN! WELL THINK AGAIN!" Grim yelled. "FUCKING HELL!!!" I screamed and jumped. "Unless you wanna be burned to a crisp take off that- ME-YEOW! That hurts! What gives?" Just then Grim is hit by the whip that belongs to Crowley. "Consider it tough love. Ah I have found you at last. Splendid. I trust that you are one of this year's new students. My, were you ever eager to make your debut. And bringing a poorly trained familiar with you? That is a clear violation of this school's rules." Crowley said. 'How the hell did he say all that in one breath?' I thought sweatdropping. "I ain't that human's or anybody's familiar." Grim said haughtily. "Yes, yes that's what all rebellious familiars say. Be quiet for a bit will you?" Crowley "asked", when in reality he already spelled Grim's mouth shut. "Of all students I have had to deal with you are the first to have left the gate before it is unlocked. Now off to orientation we go." Crowley said looking at me and then started walking towards the mirror chamber. "Well you can blame the cat. And my guy there is some things you should know before we even get to orientation." I said grabbing his arm. Crowley just brushed my hand off his arm. "No can do young man, time is ticking and you still need to be sorted into your dorm." He said casually brushing off my concerns. 'Well fuck here we go. I hate being the center of attention especially since this is legit an all boys college. Also did he really confuse me for a guy.' I thought with the typical anime depression lines. "Sir it is really important what I have to tell you." I tried again but it was too late we arrived at the mirror chamber. I could hear the conversation going on. "Hey, does anyone know where the headmage went? He just disappeared halfway through the ceremony..." Vil said. "Some headmage he is disappearing on us." Idia, or should I say Idia's tablet spoke. "Maybe he has a stomach ache." Kalim, the sunshine boy, said. "I MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT!" Crowley yelled bursting through the doors with me right behind him trying to stay out of sight because I am very nervous. "Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Riddle said. "*ahem* If you must know, I was searching for the missing student who had apparently been lost and almost missed orientation. You are the only one left young lad. Step up to the Dark Mirror and be quick about it. I shall watch your cat, since I am so gracious." Crowley said while nudging me forwards. I slowly walked up to the Dark Mirror trying to ignore the whispers. "Hey why do you think that new student was lost?" Student A said. "I don't know but I bet they are gonna be in Pomfiore for sure. They look so much like a girl its kind of scary." Student B responds. I make it in front of the Dark Mirror. "State your name." The Mirror said. "My name is Hailee King." I said confidently even though on the inside I am a nervous wreck. "Whoa even his name is feminine." I head Vil say. "Hailee... The nature of your soul is.... a special case." The Mirror finished. 'Okay that isn't how the game went.' I thought sweating a bit nervously. "What did you say, Dark Mirror?" Crowley seemed confused. "I sense magic in this young LADY but it seems like it is dormant. But I can also feel that she is a lot more powerful than what she seems. Therefore she does not belong to any dorm that is already established." The Dark Mirror finished. "Are you suggesting the ebony carriage went to recieve someone of the wrong gender? But that can not be possible in all my years as headmage this has never happened." Crowley said stumped. "HOLD ON WHAT!?" I yelled in shock. I started breathing heavy. So I had to pull the hood of the robe down revealing my features. "There is no way I can possibly have magic." I said. "Let me take that girls place then!!!" Grim shouted. "Not so fast you hyperactive cat." Crowley said. "Unlike that girl I currently can use magic! So let me be a student here in her place! Look I'll show you! My spells're the cat's meow!" Grim shouted while getting ready to blow fire. "OH SHIT EVERYONE HIT THE DECK!" I yelled starting to panic a bit. 'This is a lot more nerve wracking in real life.' I thought while shaking a bit. Grim let out a war cry and blew the fire. "AHHHHHHH! HELP! I'm on fire over here." Kalim yelled in fear. I rushed over to him and grabbed him and threw him down. "Start rolling it will put the fire out." I told him sternly. He followed my directions and thankfully the fire went out rather quickly. "Thank you Miss. You're a real life saver." Kalim said. "It was nothing. I just feel responsible for Grim causing all of this fucking chaos." I said with a tired smile. He gaped at me not believing a girl said such a word. "Someone catch that crazed animal before it sets the whole school ablaze!" Crowley yelled sternly. "Can I go no, or not?" Leona said then let out a yawn. "Oh? I thought you liked to chase down animals? Why don't you go and grab a bite of that cat?" Vil said to Leona tauntingly. Leona glared at Vil. "Way too much effort. If you're so worried do it yourself." He shot back. "Allow me to handle this, Headmage Crowley." Azul said. "ALL of YOU BOYS are too slow. I'll get the fucking cat I just need back up. You with the glasses and light purple hair and you with the red hair and the silver eyes, cover me I'm gonna catch that damned cat." I said while running towards Grim with a net and a glare on my face. 'Wait where did this net come from? No matter we got to catch Grim before he burns the school to nothing but ashes.' I thought while running after him. Azul and Riddle were taken aback at how I took charge and that a net appeared out of nowhere. "Uh yeah right behind you ma'am." Azul and Riddle said in sync. As we chased Grim I kept dodging his fire while Riddle and Azul kept the flames from spreading out of control. After about ten minutes of chasing Grim around the mirror chamber I finally cornered him and caught him in the net. I pointed at the two men behind me. "I hope one of you knows a spell that can get him to stop using his fire." I said looking pointedly at them. "I do have a spell." Riddle said and stepped up. "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!" He shouted. And just like that Riddle's signature spell's collar appeared on Grim. "MYAGH?! What's with this collar?!" Grim yelped. ""The Queen of Heart's Rule 23: "One must never bring a cat to a formal affair." Your very presence on this campus is a violation of this rule. You will leave this campus immediately." Riddle finished scoldling Grim. "But I ain't even a cat either! Don't you try and collar me! I'll burn this collar off and_ Huh? Wh-what gives? My fire ain't workin'?" He said ending his confusion with a whimper. "Until I remove the collar you will not be using magic. You are nothing but a common house cat now." Riddle explained. "I SAID I AIN'T NOBODY'S PET ANYTHING!" Grim shouted in frustration. "Oh don't worry I am not looking to keep you as a pet. That collar will disappear when you are off campus grounds." Riddle further explained. Grim's little kitty ears went down in dejection. "Ha-HA! Good job as always, Riddle. Your signature spell sure came in handy. I've just GOT to have it-ah, I mean I've just got the utmost respect for it." Azul said. 'Don't think you're slick Azul I caught that little slip up.' I thought with an anime sweatdrop. "MS.HAILEE! Was I not very clear that you are responsible for Grim!" Crowley yelled at me. "Oh for FUCK'S sake he IS NOT MY FAMILIAR!!!! IF YOU HAD WAITED LIKE I ASKED EARLIER WHEN WE WERE WALKING HERE AND YOU WERE SINGING YOUR OWN PRAISES YOU WOULD HAVE FOUND OUT THAT GRIM IS NOT MY FAMILIAR!! BUT YOU WERE TO BUSY TALKING OUT OF YOUR ASS!" I screamed at him in frustration utterly done with his bullshit. Crowley looked utterly shocked. "*ahem* Excuse me than for the misunderstanding Ms.Hailee. Alright then this cat shall be expelled from the campus. Since I am so gracious I shall even spare this cat from being served as the main course for dinner. Someone take this cat away." Crowley finished still kind of flustered. "NOOO! Let me gooo! You idiots better remember my name! Cause I am gonna go be written down into the magical history books!" He finished saying just as the doors to the mirror chamber closed. "I kind of feel bad I mean even though he threatened to burn me to a crisp. I can't help but feel bad cause he is a cute little thing." I said thoughtfully. Riddle and Azul walked up to me and bowed their heads in thanks. "We would like to thank you for the help catching that crazed cat." Riddle started slowly raising his head with a small smile. "If it were not for your quick thinking and taking action before anyone else the school could have had a lot more damage done to it." Azul finished with the fake smile he uses when he makes deals with people. I stood there slowly turning red. "U-uh it was n-no problem. I feel like I was responsible for Grim, so I did what I had to do. You both do not have to bow. Please stand up." I said with beet red cheeks. Crowley walked up to the three of us. "Well that was quite an unexpected fiasco. Now that all of the students have been sorted the ceremony is concluded. Prefects, kindly escort your new students back to the dormitories. Has anyone seen Prefect Draconia of Diasomnia?" Crowley finished speaking asking that question at the end. "Dude is a recluse." Leona said. "Did no one even invite him?" Kalim asked. "If you are truly that worried about him not being here, why did you not invite him?" Vil asked Kalim. "I would have but I don't know him that well." Kalim responded. "Draconia.... Like, Malleus Draconia? THAT Malleus Draconia?" Student A said. "So it is true, then? He really does attend school here?" Student B whispers. "Yikes." Student C breathes out. Lilia walks up right beside me and gives me a smile. "Just as I had thought. I was guessing I would have to come to the mirror chamber to see if Malleus made an appearance. Looks like he was not informed of this ceremony, AGAIN." Lilia finished with a sigh. "I offer my most sincere apologies. We do not mean to offended Malleus." Azul said. "You must admit. Malleus is not the easiest person to approach to have a conversation." Riddle commented. "No worries, young ones. All who have been assigned to Diasomnia, please follow me." Lilia said going to turn around. I felt bad for Malleus. 'I wish there was something I could give him.' I thought sadly. Just then there was a weight in the robes pocket. I reached my hand in and pulled out two items a dragon bracelet(see chapter picture) and some triple chocolate cookies. My eyes widen but I quickly jog over to Lilia and tap him on the shoulder. "Yes Miss? How may I help you?" He asked. "I feel kind of bad that all these guys are to hesitant to approach this Malleus, so I thought he would appreciate these gifts." I said with a smile showing him the gifts. His eyes widen just a little bit before he laughed his signature laugh. "I shall make sure he recieves these gift. What is your name, dear? Mine is Lilia, Lilia Vanrouge." He introduced even though I had a feeling he already knew that I knew who he is. "My name is Hailee King. Nice to meet you Mr. Vanrouge." I said with a smile. "Please just Lilia is fine. I am sorry but I must cut our conversation short as I have to get our new students back to Diasomnia. I welcome you to Night Raven College and I hope you have a nice rest of your night." He said with a genuine smile. He turned around and started out the door. "Ok Lilia you have a nice night too." I said loud enough for him to hear as he was walking away. I turned and walked back to Crowley, waving bye to Riddle, Azul, and Kalim with a smile. "Well Ms.Hailee, I regret to inform you but I can not allow you to attend Night Raven College, even though you supposedly have magic." Crowley said. "Dire Crowley, this young lady is required to attend this school. It is in her destiny. She will need to be a student. And I know what you are thinking, no she will not be a janitor." The Dark Mirror interrupted Crowley before he could go further into rejecting my entry to this college. Crowley looked spooked and I guess rightfully so. "I understand Dark Mirror but where shall she stay and why has she been chosen by you?" Crowley asked glancing at me. "This young lady has a magic that has never been seen before it is very powerful, if trained she shall be more powerful than Malleus Draconia." The Dark Mirror explained. My eyes widened. "What the hell?!?! But I come from a place that has no magic whatsoever like the closest thing we have to magic is chemistry. How do I have magic? And I can potentially be more powerful than this Malleus guy people are wary of?" I asked in quite a bit of shock. The Dark Mirror looked at me and nodded. "Your magic is, to sum it up, imagination and wishing. You have the ability to make whatever you imagine happen and if you want something enough you will get it that is the wishing part." The Dark Mirror explained it in as simple terms as he could. "And as to how you have magic you were blessed by an ancient being when you where transported to Twisted Wonderland." He told me the answer to one of the most important questions I have. My eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. "THAT IS UTTERLY CRAZY!!!" Crowley shouted and started crying. "To think that there is a fledgling mage who has so much potential to become so much more powerful than what I have seen of her powers so far. Ms.Hailee you shall be admitted to Night Raven College. If you have any requests please tell me now and I shall make them happen." Crowley said with his hand over his heart. I slowly thought of what I would like. "I would like Grim to be admitted as a student alongside me because I honestly feel bad for the little guy, I would like to have a dorm building to myself if there are any on campus, I would like it if I could have a separate bathroom built on each floor of the school because of obvious reasons, I would like you to add a separate curriculum in addition to the normal curriculum for myself under each teacher, and I would like you to provide me with an allowance to get necessities such as feminine hygeine products, everyday clothes, undergarments, foods for during that time of the month, and things along those lines. If you can one hundered percent guarantee that you will grant these requests then I shall become Night Raven College's first female student." I finished my requests. Crowley looked like he was deep in thought about my requests. He looked down at me and grinned. "I shall approve these requests for I am so kind. I shall talk with the teachers about the curriculum addition. I will have a staff member look for Grim while we head towards my office to dicuss in further details of your requests. When Grim is found he will be brought to my office. But I will warn you he is absolutely your responsibility. I am hoping there will be NO more incidents like today's ceremony. Now let us head towards my office." Crowley finished and started walking towards the door. "Crowley, sir, I would like to talk to the Dark Mirror alone for a few minutes. I promise I will not be too long." I said with a lost smile. "You may speak to him alone, for I am so kind. I will wait for you out in the corridor towards the east." Crowley said and bowed. I gave him a grateful grin and nodded my thanks. I then turned to the Dark Mirror. "I assume you know that I come from a world where this place along with all the people here are a work of fiction? I am still kind of shocked that I woke up here.Also would you vouch for Grim to study alongside myself, please? I know he is going to achieve great things but he was never sent an ebony carriage." I told the Dark Mirror. He nodded and smiled sadly. "Yes I shall accept Grim to become a student alongside you young one. You were brought here because it is your destiny but the only downside of you being brought here is that you can not return to your world. Your soul is meant to be here. But the brightside is that I know you were not happy in your world because you felt like you did not belong there. Well, my dear, this is where you belong. I wish you the best. You may come to me if you have any questions or just need to vent because I know you will be frustrated with all these boys and how they act." The Dark Mirror finished with a large sincere smile before disappearing. I stood there for a few minutes before I shook myself out of my shock. 'Well since I'm here I might as well make the most of all of this. I wonder how things will play out since I am now in the story and I apparently have powerful magic.' I thought while heading to the door. 'Welp looks like I am in for an adventure.'
