Two days later

Davina's POV:
It was finally the weekend, so no more college classes for me. I know, I wanted to go to college, and signed up myself and all, but I didn't think it'd be so frustrating! I was always very smart in school, and very creative, despite my personal, home life. School was always my one place to escape to, to feel free. I know most kids hated school, but school gave me life. The only place I've ever felt somewhat happy, was when I'd be at school.

"D?" I snap out of my daydream, to look up, seeing as Caroline was trying to catch my attention. Since it was Saturday, and neither of us had anything to do, we wanted to go out for ice cream, and Caroline has been bragging to me about this ice cream place FOREVER. so I thought I might as well check it out.

She wanted me to meet her college friends, so we're currently here with her boyfriend Klaus, his sister Rebekah, Hayley, and Bonnie. So far, it's been real fun. Her boyfriend is...interesting.

"Hm?" I hum in question, to her as she called out
To me. "Everything alright? You seem quite." Caroline spoke, worriedly. I shoot her a soft, fake smile. "Of course." I reply, before suddenly hearing my phone ring.

As I look down at my phone, i instantly freeze to the caller Id name. "I-I'll be right back.."I spoke in a stuttery tone, as i quickly got up out of my chair, hurrying outside of the ice cream shop.

I took a deep breath, before answering the call, bringing it up to my ear. "I've told you not to call me anymore, Kaleb." I whispered, but in a stern voice. All I hear on the other end is a quiet chuckle. "I've missed you, baby." He spoke, causing me to scoff.

"Really? Did you miss me, or was it just the sex?" I asked, a bit of annoyance in my voice. I won't lie, I've used people for sex before, but those were all just like one night stands and whatnot. I never really get into relationships.

But a couple years back, I met this guy, Kaleb. And at first he was sweet, and kind, even shy. But I blocked him out, like I do everyone. The only person who I truly never pushed away is caroline, even when I've tried, she never let me.

Anyways, in the beginning when I knew Kaleb, he was really sweet to me, and he got along great with Caroline too. So, I figured why not give him a shot? I never really gave him an actual shot, but we ended up sleeping together a lot. More of a 'friends with benefits'.

That was, until he wanted more. He wanted a relationship, but I didn't. But of course.. he wouldn't take no for an answer. He wanted me all for himself, didn't want me to be seen with, or touched by anyone else.

And if he found out I've slept with someone else, he'd get angry. He'd take it out on me. We weren't even together those times I've slept with other people, but as long as he was in the picture, he didn't care.

"Can't I say I've missed both?" I roll my eyes to his comment. "Loose my number, I want nothing to do with you, Kaleb." I scold, and just as I was about to hang up, he said something. "Don't you dare hang up on me or I swear to god I will track you down and drag your pathetic ass back to New York." I instantly froze at his threat.

"Kaleb..." I start to speak, but I get cut off. "Baby, just tell me where you ran off to.. I promise not to get mad." He spoke, in a soft tone. I let out a light sigh. "What're you gonna do, Kaleb? Just pack up and move down here? You know I don't want a relationship..why do you push it?" I question.

"Because I want you, baby. You're worth fighting for." I scoff at his words. "No you don't, you just want someone to control. Someone you can own. Im not your little puppet, and I wont be your pet." I argued, instantly regretting it, as I hear a growl come from the other end.

"Listen here, you little bitch- you are mine. That wont change. The only person who can kiss you, the only person who can hold you, the only person who can touch you, the only person who can fuck you- is me. Got that? So give me your damn address before I have to punish you." He threatened again, I nibbled on my bottom lip, knowing that he could easily track me down, if he really tried. So maybe I just don't have much of a choice...

Caroline's POV:
"What do you think's going on?" I heard Hayley question, as I look over at her, seeing her staring out the shoppe's windows, so I stare over, looking out the tall window, as I noticed Davina pacing back and forth, arguing with someone on her phone.

My eyebrows instantly narrowed as I stared at her. "I don't know but I don't think I like it..." I muttered, until an eyebrow rose, as i suddenly saw Kol outside, as he walked up to her.

Davina's POV:
"Kaleb-" I started to speak, but was suddenly cut off, by hearing a voice behind me. As I turn around, I look up to see Kol staring down at me. "Kaleb I have to go." I muttered into the phone, before he could get one more word in, I hung up the phone, I'll probably get a very angry call about that tonight.

Once I put my phone away, I look up at Kol, shoving my hands in my jean pockets. "Kol, how-how long have you've been standing here?" I questioned curiously, yet nervously. "Well, not long. I was just taking a walk, and you seemed pretty upset when I saw you, I wanted to make sure everything was alright." I couldn't help but smile softly at his concern.

"That's very sweet of you, but I'm alright. I promise." I lied. What was I gonna do? Just come right out and tell him my abusive ex is threatening me to give him my address? "Are you sure? I know you're saying your alright, but your body language is saying something else." He spoke, in concern, but in order to try and change the subject, I took it to a different level.

"Oh yeah? What's my body language telling you?" I asked, in a seductive tone, as I slowly walked closer to him. I watched as he rose an eyebrow, but i could see a hint of lust in his eyes, as if he was trying to hide it.

"What it's telling me, is that you aren't alright." He spoke, as I let out a sigh, wanting to change the subject again. "Sure? Because I think it's speaking a little differently.." I sucked on my bottom lip, as I reached my hand out, grabbing the collar of his shirt.

I pulled him down, so I can whisper in his ear. "Maybe I could show you what it's saying?" I could hear a growl ripple from his chest, causing me to smirk. "Well then...lead the way." He whispered back, causing my smirk to grow.

I slowly pulled away from his ear, sending him a wink, before taking his hand, as I let him away from the ice cream shop.

A few minutes later

After a few moments of walked, we arrived to my house. My home was only right down the block from the ice cream shop, so it definitely wasn't far. I pull my key from out of my back pocket, but before I could even put it in to unlock the door, my door is swung open, only for my eyes to widen. "Kaleb?!"
