Atsushi Pov:
Dazai, Chuuya, Akutagawa and I were following a lead on the decay of angels. It was the same man who I had seen get cut in half when we went on that mission. According to Kunikida that is (Don't question how Dazai is out of prison imma manipulate the timeline for this-- so he's already escaped, and his broken leg is healed enough. Sigma is the one who gave him the info after siding with the ADA) It was also the same man who had stabbed my leg repeatedly, so I was quite excited to take him into confinement.
The man we were chasing was named Nikolai whose ability allowed him to use his coat to teleport objects or even people. However, evidence shows that it is possible that his ability could be used to transport people between universes. We had to exercise absolute caution for this case.
We arrived at the believed location of Nikolai, and Chuuya and Dazai stopped arguing becoming serious for once, showing that old expertise they had when they had been in the mafia together as Double Black.
"Come on folks we don't have time to dally we don't know how long Nikolai will stay in one place." Dazai said taking Chuuya's wrist and dragging him away. Reluctantly, Akutagawa and I followed
We arrived at a clearing in the brush and sure enough there was the psychotic masochist who cut himself in half, his large white coat billowing around him.
'Oh, you're here!" He clapped his hands together, "Now the show can begin for real!" He spun extravagantly and disappeared into his coat.
"You can go first." I heard his voice whispering in my ear. Suddenly it all went dark.
Akutagawa Pov:
I heard Atsushi's startled yelp get suddenly cut off. Turning around sharply, I saw a final glimpse of his hand before he disappeared. Nikolai reappeared moments later this time taking Chuuya. I rushed toward Dazai, determined to protect him but he disappeared too, his gaze still fixated on the spot Chuuya was last standing in. I let Nikolai take me so that I could hopefully go to wherever Nikolai had taken everyone else.\
