Chapter 1 "Where are we?"

"Clark!" Clara called out
"What scout?"
"Can you help me with my hair?"
"You know I'm not good with that girly stuff"
"I know but can you please hold this piece of hair while I clip it up?" Clara begged
"Fine only because I love you" Clark agreed
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" Clara yelled in a fit of excitement
Clark holds a chunk of Clara's shoulder length blonde hair. Clara then clips her hair and smiles at Clark
"You know, your not to bad at this"
"Oh my god shut up" Clark says while laughing
Clara then joins him. They then take a breather and stop laughing.
"I should call Gemma and see if she's ready" Clara tells Clark
"Yea I'll text Danny"

*ringing*
"Heyyyy" a high girl voice comes from Clara's phone
"Heyyy! Are you almost ready Gemma?"
"Yea I'm just finishing up my makeup then I'll be ready" Gemma explains
"Okay great me and Clark will be there soon"
"Okay"
*phone hangs up*
"Anything from Daniel?" Clara asks Clark while spinning her chair around to look at her tall buff brother
"Uh yea, he's ready so we should head out" Clark replies
"Okay"

As they are heading down their big wooden staircase Clark starts laughing
"What toots?"
"Oh nothing" he says chuckling
"Oh come on tell me" Clara says while she's half way down the staircase
"I'm just thinking about the time when we used to run around in the house and sneak food while mom would cook us dinner"
"Yea..." Clara stares down at her feet and fakes a laugh while holding back tears
"I miss her" Clara says quietly but loud enough for Clark to hear
"I know I do too but we still have each other" Clark said while reaching the bottom of the stairs. Clara soon reaches the bottom too and reaches to give Clark a hug. Clark hugs holds her close and kisses her forehead and says
"I love you scout"
"I love you too toots"
They walk to the door and Clark opens the front door and they both walk out. Clark grabs his car keys out of his pocket and pressed the unlock button. Clara walks over to the right backseat door and opens it. Clark goes to the drivers door and opens it. They both sit down and buckle their seatbelts.
"Clark let me connect to the car so I can play music"
"Okay"
Clara connects her Bluetooth and plays her favorite song. The song "she's all I wanna be" starts playing and Clara stars singing along.
"You want the girl with the small waist"
"And the perfect smile"
"Someone who's out every weekday"
"In her dads new car"
Clark turns on the car and starts to back out of the driveway. Clara continues to sing and dance to the song. They reach Gemma's house and Clark turns off the car and gets out. Clara then steps out of the car too and they start heading up to the door.

*knock knock*
Gemma opens the door and walks outside.
"Let's go to Danny's" Clark says
"Okay" Gemma says
Clara and Gemma start talking about boy problems on the way back to the car. As they reach the car they all get in and buckle up. They then start driving to Daniels house.

As they pull up to Daniels house they all unbuckle and then Clark parks the car. They all get out the car and start walking to the door. They all reach the door and then Clark knocks on the door.
*knock knock*
Daniel opens the door.
"I started to think you guys forgot me" he said while laughing
"What never bro, I could never forget you" he says while laughing
They all go inside and walk to the dining room. The all sit down on Daniels black chairs.
"Okay so where are we going Clark?" Daniel asks
"Wait and see"
They start thinking about where he's taking them.
"Well we should start packing" Daniel says
They all agree. Daniel gets up and goes to his closet in the hallway. He grabs 4 black book bags from it. He goes back to the table and sets them down.
"Everyone take one"
They all take one and open it. In each of them there is a flashlight, water bottle, some protein bars, portable batteries packs and a first aid kit.
"Why do we need this stuff" Gemma asks
"Well knowing Clark we're probably going to some abandoned house or something"
"Ohhh"
They all zip up the book bags and get up from the table. They all start walking to the door. Clara opens it and they all start walking outside. They make their way to the car. They all get in and buckle up.
"Alright guys this ride is gonna be long so get comfortable" Clark says
They start driving and listen to some up beat pop music.

*4 hours later*
"Can we stop at that gas station up ahead?" Clara asks
"Yea"
Clarks pulls in and they all get out to get something to eat and use the bathroom. Clara goes inside the store with Daniel to get food and drinks while Clark and Gemma go to the bathroom.
"What should we get?" Daniel asks Clara
"I don't know, what are you in the mood for?"
"I'm thinking nachos"
"Ooooo that sounds so good"
"Yes and a slushy!!"
"OH MY GOD YES!!"
They both started laughing. Daniel looks at Clara and Clara looks back at him. They make eye contact.
*Clara's thoughts*
"He has such beautiful eyes..."
"His brown eyes look so perfect"
*Daniels thoughts*
"She's so beautiful."
"Do I like her?..."
" I cant- I CANT SHES CLARKS TWIN SISTER"
They then break eye contact.
"Um here look the slushes are over there" Daniel says
"Oh yea haha"
Gemma and Clark walk in the store. And they spot Daniel and Clara
"hey guys" Gemma said
They all get food and drinks and they then start heading up to the register.
"Is this all?" The clerk said
"Uh yes" Clark replies
Clark then pays for the stuff. They all start to head out the door. They get in the car. Clark starts the car and they pull out of the parking lot.

As they are driving Clara catches Gemma looking at Clark.
"He's not going anywhere" she says in a mocking tone
"Huh? Oh haha" Gemma says embarrassed
Daniel starts to tap on his legs like drums to the beat of the song that's playing. Clara starts looking at Daniel. She looks away quickly

*Clara's thoughts*
" I can't like him. He's my twins best friend."

Daniel puts his feet up on the dashboard and puts his arms on the back of his head. As they are driving they see headlights. As the headlights creep closer it starts going towards their car. The car was soon a few feet away from the car. Everyone starts screaming while Clark tries to swerve out of the way. They end up swerving off the road.

*1 hour later*
Clara wakes up after passing out from the crash. She touches her forehead while still in a daze. She looks at her hand slowly and she realizes she has red thick blood running down her face. She starts hyperventilating.
"Oh my god"
She tries to stay calm and calm herself down enough to check on everyone else. They were still all passed out. She tries waking up Gemma by shaking her and it didn't work. She got out the car and ran to Clark's door to make sure he was okay.
"CLARK!" She screamed while shaking him.
He starts to wake up. His nose was gushing with blood. Clara kept asking if he was okay.
"Yes I think I'm okay check on the others"
"Okay"
She ran to Gemma's door to wake her up. This time it worked and Gemma seemed okay. Clara then ran to Daniel and started shaking him to wake up. His lip was busted and his nose was bleeding. Clara held his cheeks in her hands and tried to talk to him. She thought the crash killed him.
"Daniel wake up"
"Please wake up!"
Daniel started to open his eyes. And he started mumbling.
"I-I'm okay"
She sighed of relief. And everyone got out of the car and went into their bags to find the first aid kits. Clara started to bandage up Clark. Then she started to bandage up Daniel. And then Gemma started to bandage up Clara's forehead. They then try to look around to see where they are.
"Where are we?" Gemma quietly asked the rest of the group.
"I don't know but I'll keep you guys safe" Clark said loudly
"Hey I don't need you to keep me safe" Daniel whined
"Okay then I'll protect Clara and Gemma"
"Haha yea right" Gemma said
Clara started laughing.
