For the entirety of Human History, a lot has been lost. To time, to man, to nature. The nature of all things is to rot and be forgotten.

The story I'm about to tell you is one such piece of a forgotten history, censured by the men who could not come to terms with their own nature, seeking to impose their will on time itself.

Once upon a time, in Ancient Assyria, there was a village. On that village lived a woman. One day, that woman would meet a tall man, one who was said to be cursed for all plants would wither and die in his touch.

The woman and the man fell in love with each other, which would result in the birth of a child.

However, this did not end well for the woman, the man and the child. Primitive medicine resulted in the woman dying at childbirth, which led the despairing man to abandon the village and the child.

It would turn out fine for the child, however, as the village helped raise him, despite not having any parents.

The child would grow into a tall young man with light brown skin, hair as black as the abyss and eyes as red as a river of blood. The young man would live a peaceful life, one where he had no companionship, but one he was content with.

However, that would end when he was 21 years old. One day, the crops form the fields of the village withered. It was unknown whether it was poor agriculture, willing sabotage or the curse from a demon, but the actions that the villagers took would be solely Human in nature.

The villagers gathered a decided that they need to offer a scapegoat as sacrifice to the gods they worshipped, in order to gain their favor. So, they chose the young man.

He was captured and imprisoned, and for 6 days he was tortured an had his skin engraved and seared with every curse the villagers could remember or imagine.

And on the 7th day, they found the young man healed. But most concerning of all, the scars and burns of the curses the villagers put on him had become one with his skin.

And so, on the 7th day, they burned him alive. They heard his screams of agony increasing in intensity, before, slowly but surely, those screams turned to laughter. A laughter so malicious that all the villagers' lungs collapsed on themselves from the sheer malice alone.

Then, the fire turned black. And then it grew, and grew, until it reached the Heavens. When it did, it immediately dispersed around the world, leaving behind a being that, no matter how much he forgot, no matter how much he forgave, would only know Hate.

This is not a story about heroes and villains. This is not a story about growing up or about maturing.

This is a story about a princess, a group of lowborn demons and the incarnation of all of Humanity's Hate.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to:
