"Alright, you two," Abby called out to grab their attention. "Enough practice on the solo for now. We're going to move on to your duet."

Ethan and Mackenzie exchanged excited glances before making their way over to Abby, ready to take on the challenge ahead.

"Now, I want you two to immerse yourselves in this performance," Abby instructed firmly. "This isn't just another dance routine – it's a portrayal of the highs and lows that can only be experienced by siblings."

Of course everyone loved the performance, and they were the perfect pair with flawless synchronization. However, Maddie was torn apart by the thought that it could have been her out there on stage with Ethan.

Maddie's relationship with Mackenzie had been strained for some time now. Despite their shared love for dance and the desire to support each other in their pursuits, something had always been amiss between the sisters.
