Website construction is not something I do on a regular basis (other than my own two sites) but this was a project for the local author's group that I'm the art administrator for. We lost our original website to COVID. During the pandemic the group was forced into inactivity and we could no long afford the fees.
Now that we're back up and running, we decided we needed a new site. The fees of a hosted website are still out of our reach, but a free site works just as well. Especially when we can use a QR code in place of a domain link!
I'm proud of how the site turned out and I hope it will help people get to know the group and our authors better.
