I sat on my couch, watching the television. My favorite show, the watchers, was on. I was so into this series that it felt as if I was there, in the moment, crying with the characters, feeling their pain, shouting in joy at their triumphs. This television show might have been just a bit too addicting because instead of going to some fun family event with my friends, or having a game night with my friends, I would sit and stare intently at the television.
One day as I sat in the living room, my brain focused fully on the story that was unfolding infront of me, I felt something different than I usually did. That was pain.
I flinched and held my arm, looking down. Was that blood? A red liquid seaped through my fingers and dripped down my arm. It was like I was there, in the show, but more than usual. My arm started to throb and I looked around.
Trees and fog was all that I could see for miles. But everything was just a bit blurry to me. Turning in a full circle, I realized that this was where the characters in The Watchers had just been... A dark forest, the dark wood was its name.
Then I remembered what had happened in this scene, Shadow had been killed by Stalker! I looked for any sign on the two werewolves but I found nothing. I looked down at my feet and was shocked to find fur, thick, grey, bushy fur; like Stalker's fur.
Things started to clear up as the full scene took its form in front of me. A pitch black colored wolf lay on the ground, wheezing as a bite mark in his neck sizzled, singing the fur around the wound.
I gasped, but nothing came out, nothing but a growl that is. I screamed for help, but I only howled in victory. It was like I was being controlled, Like I was in a body, but not mine.
I fell onto all fours, bounding towards the gasping figure of Shadow. My teeth ready to bite, claws ready to tear the wolf apart.
I was Stalker, a mercenary, willing to do anything for money, or at least I was watching the story from his view, in his body. I couldn't bear to watch. Then out of nowhere, something hit my side, knocking me to the ground. My ribs lit up with pain and I screamed. Looking up I saw Starfire, a sandy colored wolf, pinning my body to the ground. She opened her venom filled jaws to bite my neck, but the moment before she did, I shouted.
"No! I don't want to hurt anyone! I dont want to kill Shadow! Please!" Starfire stopped in shock at the words that had just come out of my mouth. I too was shocked because before, I hadn't been able to control my actions. Now I was freely speaking?
