Ignoring his question, Claire started talking again, "We've been pre-booking tickets for months... the park needs a new attraction every few years in order to reinvigorate the publics interest— sorta like the space program. Corporate felt the genetic modification would up the 'wow factor'."

"They're dinosaurs, 'wow' enough." Owen rolled his eyes, making sure Y/n was following.

"Not according to our focus groups, the Indominus Rex makes us relevant again—"

"The Indominus Rex?" He chuckled.

"We needed something scary and easy to pronounce— you should hear a 4-year-old try to say 'Archaeornithomimus'."

Owen glanced at Y/n before back to Claire as she went inside, "you should hear you try to say it..."

After that whole conversation, Y/n tuned, them out, looking around a bit before going to the security monitors while the two talked. "Uh, guys?"

They began to beep as Claire did a scan, not getting anything back. "Oh, shit.. were those clawmarks always there?"

Claire and Y/n walked over, seeing what Owen was talking about.

"Do you think it..." Claire trailed off, grabbing Y/n's arm as she began walking out, "She has an implant in her back, I can track it from the control room."

Y/n looked out the window as Claire drove, holding onto the door since she was driving a bit too fast for his liking. "That's impossible I was just there."

He turned back to look at her when she spoke, confused— since he couldn't hear the other end. Seeing Claire's expression made him a bit worried though.

"Get them out of there now... now!"

"What– what is it?!" Y/n asked, not getting a response from Claire, but she yelled back into the phone,

"Somebody talk to me— what is happening?!"

The rest of the car ride made them feel uneasy.

Claire and Y/n got to the Control room not too much later, it was so quiet it made him want to throw up. "Everyone remain calm... the implant will shock it if it gets too close to an attraction."

Y/n looked up at the map, following Claire over to Lowreys desk. Half listening until Simon spoke up, "Hang up the damn phone please!"

"Sorry I'm getting new information... everything's fine." Vivian mumbled, sighing.

"Let asset containment capture it quietly, the very existence of this park is predicated on our ability to handle incidents like this.. it was an eventuality, okay?" Simon continued, moving over next to Lowreys desk.

"You should but that in the brochure, 'Eventually, one of these things will eat somebody.'" Lowrey scoffed, shaking his head.

"That paddock is 4 miles from the closest attratcion... ACU can handle this, nobody else will get—"

"Eaten?"
