My mother and my father were arguing about letting me stay my father was thinking about it and my mother already had her answer and that was a no but I'm not taking no for an answer, I grabbed the stallion from Sam and smiled at him and hooked the horse up to the wagon, I looked back at my parents and they were still going back and forth I didn't wanna hear it so I grabbed sams hand and we walked away into the night,
Sam: where are we going
Elsa: i don't know anywhere but here
Sam: we can go to my Tipi
Elsa: are your people gonna say something
Sam: No we all mind our own business it's not they're choice if I wanna marry a white woman
Elsa: okay

We walked to his land holding hands when we got there I saw people standing around a big fire I heard drums being beat on
Elsa: what are they doing
Sam: Tribes believed that the sound compares to a human's heartbeat and resembles the heartbeat of Mother Earth
Elsa: oh so they're bringing Mother Natures heart beat alive
Sam: yeah kinda, my tipi are over there it won't be this loud
Elsa: okay, did you guys make all this
Sam: my people did when we were in war
Elsa: what were you in war for
Sam: to keep our land

I stayed quiet, I felt bad for what my skin color people did, they would go and kill families to bait in the men Indians and kill them how they made them live on a reservation they're whole lives and if they denied it they were killed, i don't know how people could be so cruel to people who did nothing wrong, we got to his tipi and he opened the flap for me to crawl in, I crawled in with him behind me, there was horse shadows painted on the fabric
Elsa: did you do those
Sam: my wife did, she loved horses
Elsa: they're pretty
Sam: lay with me(laying down and opening his arms)
Elsa: okay (taking off my jackets and shoes and laying down with him)
Sam: she was shy, not very outgoing but she loved horses the way she looked at me with all the love in the world, the look you give me
Elsa: your wife sounds amazing                                                                                                                                Sam: she was amazing
