Chapter Nine - Oh no

At the sight of the crash Aurora was still unconscious as she was pulled from the car and rushed of to hospital. Jacobson went with her as back up security followed. Charles, William, Harry and Camilla were told which hospital and made their way there. On route an entire floor was such down, non personnel were removed and the hospital as a while went into lockdown as a trauma team was set up ready for the four casualties. 

Within two hours the news of the crash, tv-programs were interrupted with the breaking news. Royal family members traveled from their homes to Buckingham Palace all waiting for news. James and Michael the driver of the royal jeep were taken to hospital and well as the driver of the other car. Aurora's family arrived and were taken up to Aurora's floor. Jacobsen was instructing security about what needed to be done

"We've just got this, this is all personnel that have been cleared to come onto the floor, check identification not on the list, they do not get past you clear?"

"Yes, sir." Jacobsen turned to the royals and bowed his head

"Your highness'."

"What happened Jacobsen?" Charles questioned the manned Jacobsen gestured to the family room across from them and the adjourned into there and closed the door.

"We were a hour out from Clarence House when The Princess's car started swerving and then a second crashed into them at an angle. Those of us there made quick work of securing the scene and calling it in. Sir...." Jacobsen hesitated "One of the men thinks the other driver was...drunk, he smelt heavily of Alcohol."

"She was hit by a drunk driver?" William stated in shock

"It seems that way, theres going to be an investigation but I've spoken with other members of the detail, who are giving their statements now. It's yet to be confirmed but our leading theory is that Michal saw what was happening and took evasive action to protect the Princess but the driver was that intoxicated he still managed to crash to the rear end of the car." the family was stunned

"A doctor should be in soon to answer any questions. I will be outside till the other members of my team return and then I will give my statement." he bowed his head to them and exited leaving the family reeling

-10pm-

Dr Alexander Erik's came to stand outside the family room and showed his ID. The guards check and nodded standing to one side. Dr Erik knocked and was called in he bowed his head as the door shut behind him

"Your Royal Highness's. I'm Dr Erik I've been attending to your daughter the Princess Aurora since admittance."

"Yes, how is she?" Charles gestured for him to get to the point

"Well the good news it that Her Highness is in stable condition" all of them breathed a sigh of relief "The Princess sustained a head injury, due to the nature that it is head injury that cause her to lose consciousness we've decided that for her benefit to put her into an induced coma at least till the swelling has gone down and we can take a safer look. To add she sustained a arm fracture and bruised ribs due to the force of her seatbelt protection. She's have round the clock observations but as it stands I'm optimistic."

"Can we see her?" Harry questioned

"In about half an hour, she is currently being tended to her arm and then she will be moved into a room." Dr Erick was let go and he left

-Two floors down The next morning-

Police were stood outside the driver of the second car Thom Spectre came round to his mother crying next to him. She and the solicitor that was sat in the corner of the room were the first people he saw when he woke up
