My Faker.

*3𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧*

It was another day of Sonic's regular morning routine.

He woke up,took a bath,got dressed
and went on his regular morning run he does everyday.Honestly,the blue hedgehog was getting bored of his own routine.

It reminded him of the saying:
"Eat,Sleep,Repeat"

A loop.

Where you do the same thing over and over again until you eventually die.The thought would send shivers down the azure hedgehog's spine,but thankfully,Sonic always had different plans every single day,
which meant he'll get to experience something new and not just the same boring thing he already experienced.

And he had close friends,too. (Tails,Knuckles,Amy,Rouge etc.)

He loved them dearly.And he would sacrifice everything he had for their safety,and he means it.
But there was one particular hedgehog he always seemed to enjoy being with:

Shadow.

It might sound surprising,
but the blue hedgehog would prefer to hang out with Shadow rather than Knuckles.
The azure hedgehog LOVES to annoy the two-toned hedgehog,but it's mainly because he enjoys seeing Shadow's pissed off expression.

During his free time,
Sonic would try to find Shadow just to annoy him the entire time the black hedgehog was working—which is the main reason why the others would see Shadow chasing Sonic all over the place,and only stopping if they needed to catch their breath,or if someone steps in to stop them—which is rare,but it's still a possibility.

And today was no different.

Shadow was currently hunting down Sonic since the black hedgehog happened to lose track of him.

'Where is that idiot!?I swear i'm gonna make him pay for taking one of my rings.'

Shadow thought to himself while growling lowly,stomping his way across the area where he saw Sonic last.

"Does the little hedgehog interest you so much that you would go finding him during work?"A sudden voice spoke,causing Shadow to immedietly snap his head in the direction the source of sound was heard from,meeting an annoyed and somewhat amused Rouge.
"Why are you here?"
Shadow snarled at the bat,obviously not wanting to be disturbed while he's 'busy'.

The bat rolled her eyes at this and replied,"To get you,of course.You've been slacking off at work ever since you told me that this little blue hedgehog has caught your interest,but THAT interest shouldn't affect your work life,hun".

Before Shadow could spit out another excuse,Rouge noticed one of his rings were missing."Where's your other ring?"Shadow took a brief  pause,contemplating if he should tell the bat what happened to it—which wasn't necessary because he knew that the bat would force the answer out of him anyways.

"Faker stole it while i was at work."
Shadow replied,with arms crossed and eyes closed,avoiding Rouge's amused expression.

"If Sonic loves your rings so much,then why don't you put a ring on his finger then?"

Rouge said,smirking after she noticed Shadow's blush and small smile he failed to hide.
"Awww,are you blushing?That's a rare reaction from someone like you,hun.But i'm not complaining!"

The female bat cooed,which caused the black hedgehog to send her a glare with gritted teeth.

Normally,Shadow would lash out on Rouge when she teases him about this kind of topic.He only kept quiet because she was right,that he has an interest in the blue hedgehog.He hates himself for even taking an interest in such a... beautiful being he knew he could never have—but of course,Shadow always finds a way to get what he wants.
