the whole day bomi practiced here i am. she desperately wanted to keep her all-star status, but also wanted to show star-creators that she was a hard worker and was more than her looks. throughout iz*one's promotions as well as after, especially when she was announced to be music bank's mc, anti's began claiming that bomi was not talented and only had good looks. which wasn't true at all, bomi was extremely talented and worked hard to get where she was.
the person who reminded her of that was jeonghyeon. he was there with her, every single step of the way. every time bomi would stumble upon hate comments, jeonghyeon would make her put her phone away, and at the end of the day after practicing he'd take her out for dinner to get her mind off of it. whether it was out to a sit-down dinner, or just to the nearby convenience store, he'd always make sure to take her out.
maybe that was why bomi was so caught up on him. he was there for her when times got hard, acting as the light in her life, because he was— and still is.
