Meeting the Freak

Y/n looks at her alarm clock that reads 7:00 am. Y/n gets out of bed putting on a Blondie tape getting ready for school. She dances around her room to the song Call Me.

She walks down the stairs running to play the tape in the living room. Walking to the kitchen to make her family breakfast. She decided on making pancakes Dusty's favourite while continuing to dance in the kitchen to the tape playing.

"Y/n!" Dustin yells coming down the stairs.

"Yeah Dusty?" Y/n asks.

"What's for breakfast?" Dustin asks with a big smile.

"Pancakes your favourite" Y/n smiles at him.

Y/n places Dustin's breakfast on the table in front of him before ruffling his hair.

"Thanks Y/n" Dustin smiles stuffing a pancake in his mouth with syrup dripping down his chin falling onto his shirt.

"Yeah no problem Dusty" Y/n laughs shaking her head and walks over to the tape playing and turning it off.

After Y/n and Dustin finish eating they say goodbye to their Mom and go to school.
Y/n pulls up to the school and looks at Dustin.

"If you need anything come find me ok" Y/n says.

"Yeah I know" Dustin says rolling his eyes playfully.

"Ok have a good day bye I love you" Y/n says getting out of the vehicle to hug Dustin who's standing in the parking lot now.

"I will and love you too" Dustin says quietly making sure the Hellfire Club didn't hear him.

Y/n and Dustin part ways at the front of the school.
She walks in to see Robin as she runs over to her and jumps on her back like she always does.

"Rob!" Y/n exclaims excitedly.

"Yes Y/n/n?" Robin replies laughing.

"What I missed you" Y/n says laughing.

"I missed you too even though I just saw you yesterday" Robin says laughing.

"Yeah I know" Y/n says rolling her eyes playfully.

Y/n and Robin walk down the hallway laughing and talking when bam...
Y/n runs into someone.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention"
Y/n says quickly and nervously.

"Woah it's alright don't sweat it"

Y/n looks up to see the freak Eddie Munson.
She always hated that name they gave Eddie and thought it was rude and offensive.

"I'm sorry I can be clumsy" Y/n apologizes with a small laugh and smile.

"It's ok nothings broken" Eddie smirks at the girl in front of him.

"I'm still really sorry for running into you it's my fault" Y/n says sweetly.

"You say sorry a lot don't you?" Eddie asks smiling.

"I'm sorry I don't mean to" Y/n says smiling.

"There you said sorry again" Eddie says laughing at the girl.

"Your the Angel of the school aren't you?" Eddie asks smirking down at Y/n.

"Yes she is" Robin cuts in smiling at Y/n.

"Well Angel I'm all good you don't have to keep saying sorry" Eddie says smiling.

"Sorry" Y/n says quietly before giggling quietly realizing she said sorry again.

When Eddie heard Y/n giggling he smiled at the girl from how cute she looked smiling with textbook's in her hands.

"Well I got to go see you around Angel" Eddie says smiling at the girl before walking away down the hall to find the Hellfire Club.

"He was so hitting on you" Robin says nudging Y/n's shoulder with hers smirking.

"No he wasn't, he was just being nice" Y/n says rolling her eyes laughing.

"Oh come on he called you Angel" Robin says.

"Lots of people call me that" Y/n says smiling.

"Yeah but they're not Eddie the freak Munson" Robin says.

Y/n gives Robin a sad look.

"Sorry I know you hate that nickname" Robin says.

"Yes I do but not because it has to do with Eddie it's because it's rude and offensive"Y/n says sadly.

"I know, but seriously he likes you" Robin says.

"No he doesn't Rob" Y/n shakes her head smiling.

"Yes he does, he's always looking at you" Robin says in an open your eyes kind of tone.

"Rob he's probably looking at something else" Y/n laughs at how worked up Robin is getting.

The last time Robin told Y/n a guy was making a move on her the two had a debate and Robin would get so worked up about it saying "you're being blind to love".  Y/n just never thought a guy would make a move on her because she's shy and has never had a relationship before.
