Time Turner

Part one, You can run.

Gregory's pov:
I dashed around a corner, quickly escaping the grasp of really energetic and weird animatronic. "KEEP THE LIGHTS ON!!". I stopped in my tracks and made a quick turn around to stick my tongue out at him and make an 'L' shape with my fingers. "I don't think I will!!", I yelled while turning around and setting eyes on my target hiding spot. After turning off the lights for fun I went to hide and get ready for the chase, there was no chance Sun would reach the lever in time to turn the lights back on anyway. I ran into a slide and I knew he would find me here. But the best part is running away. As expected, he started to struggle, he kept holding onto his head and saying "I warned you!, I warned you!!" If it weren't for his voice being annoying, I would've left the lights on. Nah, just kidding, I would've totally done this same thing anyway- what can I say??, I just love this!, ever since I came into the daycare I found a thrill in doing this!. Well- why wouldn't I have?, I was running for my dear life. Even right now I'm putting my life at risk by doing this, but, do I care?, no. All I care about is the fact that I'm having fun. In a few moments, I saw Sun turning into Moon, and right then, I slowed my breathing. I saw his blinding red eyes glowing in the dark, illuminating his path as he made his way around the daycare. Starting with..the ball pit. What a lucky day for me, I get to relax a bit while he looks in that big ocean of plastic balls. Germ filled, disgusting, sort of worn out, plastic balls. I laid back in the slide but still kept my guard up just in case. I wanted so badly to move my legs and cross them to make a pose of someone who's star gazing or relaxing on a beach, but I couldn't. My feet- or rather my shoes kept me firm and in place. If I moved them, I would immediately go down the slide and be found and killed. I was in the middle of the slide, which was good because I wasn't at the starting point of it nor the end, those parts are way too risky. Moon would have found me by now if I was predictable, but, I take great time in thinking where I'm gonna hide in this big place before each game starts, I'm surprised I haven't run out of places to hide yet. Honestly. I heard a slight movement from the slides entrance. "Naughty child.." My eyes widened as I realized Moon had found me. "OH SH*T!" I quickly lifted my feet off the slide's surface and let myself fall down to the ending point of the slide. Moon didn't go down the slide, he just jumped and started to crawl on the outer layer of it, which was a smart move I must admit- "Dang it!!, oh well- can't say I wasn't ready!" I sprinted, and then jogged, and then sprinted again- I ran in a few circles around the play structures but I still didn't lose him. "It's time for nighty night~" Moon inched closer to me as I was backing into a corner. Did I really think I could've survived this?, well maybe I could've if I didn't jinx myself!! "I'm not a stupid kid!!, I don't need a nap time!" I should've been focused on finding a way out but his remark sorta made me mad and I was stupid to reply back to it. He is an animatronic after all, he was programmed to say that..As Moon kept getting closer and closer, I tried accepting my fate which was soon to come. Death. I looked around not wanting to face Moon when he killed me, if he did, I didn't wanna go out looking at this damn pathetic excuse for an animatronic tear me to shreds. But as I looked around, I saw something glowing in the darkness beyond from where me and Moon were, something blue.."WAIT- BLUE!!" I pushed Moon over with no hesitation "Good luck getting up you bucket of bolts!" I laughed and went bolting for the source of the blue light. Then it dawned on me, one, I just pushed Moon to the ground, and two, Moon can get up easily because he's built to handle such actions. which can only mean.. "Why won't you rest?~" "SERIOUSLY!?" I looked behind me and there he was, Moon. I turn my head back to facing forward, I wanted to keep running but my legs felt like they were about to give out at any given moment. I slowed down my pace. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I went out like this, at least I tried..and the blue light..what if it's not what I think it is?. I'll just give in.."Naughty children must be punished~" I heard the voice getting closer. I closed my eyes. "SUPERSTAR!" My eyes went wide and I came back to my senses. "Freddy!!" There he was, standing while holding the door open. Beckoning me to run through. His eyes glowing blue. "YOU CAN DO IT!, RUN!, COME ON!" I tightened my jaw and breathed in a big gulp of air, I had to hold my breath, breathing would slow me down. I felt the tip of Moon's cold, metal hand on my shoulder, but before he could tighten his grip on me, I took off. I looked up at the ceiling so I wouldn't feel pressured. I've always done this since I was 8. I never knew exactly why but, every time I would look up at the sky while running, it always made it a bit easier for me..maybe it was because it seemed like there was never a finish point so I didn't feel like I was in a race. I kept running while looking up till I saw that the room was coming to an end. And, by that I mean there was no more sky to look at, just the rest of a gigantic door. I brought my head down and looked straight forward, I switched from running to doing a long jump and I made it through the door. I let out my breath. "Freddy!! Close it!!" Freddy looked nervous but followed my order and shut it just as Moon was three inches away. I was finally at peace. I took long and slow gulps of air. In and out, in and out. "SUPERSTAR, WHAT WERE YOU DOING IN THERE?" Freddy kneeled down to my height and spoke so loud that I could've sworn I was gonna go deaf. "Ouch- Freddy, turn down the volume, would ya?" I put my hands over my ears and closed my eyes. "Sorry Superstar-" I took my hands off my ears and turned to him. "I was just trying to explore more, that's all." I looked to the side out of embarrassment, I couldn't bring myself to say something like "Oh I just wanted to play a simple game of chase." That would sound stupid. "Gregory, I think it's great that you conquer your curiosity but..you were banned from there, do you not remember?" I couldn't believe it- does he think I have bad memory?. "Of course I remember!, that was one of the most fun- I mean, Scariest experiences I've ever had!" I put my hands up in the air and then placed them on my hips while rolling my eyes. "Just please don't do that again, okay?" He looked so worried, I guess it's best that I just don't tell him that I've been doing this since the day after I first got here while he was charging.. "Okay, okay. Whatever." I crossed my arms and brought myself to not be angry with him, he was just worried after all. "Come on Superstar, it's way past your bedtime." He stood up and held out his hand for me to take. "Freddy..I'm not a little kid!!, I don't need a bedtime!" I groaned and looked at the ground. "Gregory, everybody needs a bedtime in order to have a lot of energy when they wake up in the mornings." Freddy did have a point..I guess bedtimes aren't only for kids. "Fine." I took his hand and he started walking me to our room. I mocked him in my head. As if I wouldn't do it again, this place is boring so I have nothing else to do, Fazerblast got old as time went on and going in the daycare to create chaos was my only way of staying entertained. I think I might go 'explore' again tomorrow.
