1.Dying For A Greater Cause

Jeremy jumps up and spins his body around and kicks Vaughn in the chest making stumble back as the old hunter drops his knife; Jeremy sees his opening and charges Vaughn managing to tackle him and pin the old hunter against the wall

The younger Gilbert channels his anger and mercilessly starts to punch Vaughn in the stomach and hits the old hunter with a hard uppercut as Vaughn's blood flies out of his mouth and onto Jeremy's shirt; the old hunter rolls to his left and narrowly dodges one of Jeremy's punches

Jeremy is kneed in the stomach and jump kicked in the chest as he falls to the ground; Vaughn gets back up and walks over to Jeremy and kicks him across the face as he possibly can as he tells Jeremy

Vaughn:You're a bit confused, Mr Gilbert. We are on the same team here

Vaugh grabs Jeremy and puts him into a chokehold still Jeremy persists as he elbows Vaughn in the face and breaks free from his hold on him, Jeremy quickly turns the table on Vaughn as he is the one who finds himself in a chokehold

"You stabbed my friend!"

Jeremy's hold on Vaughn's neck tightens as the old hunter can feel his oxygen fading away and musters every ounce of superhuman strength and pushes himself back and slams Jeremy into the rock wall behind them

Vaughn grabs Jeremy his arm and uses the young Gilbert's own momentum against and throws him over as Jeremy hits the ground hard; Vaughn picks his knife back up from the ground as Jeremy pushes through the pain and gets on one knee

Vaughn makes his way over to a bloodied up Jeremy and tries to drive the knife into him but he is able to uses whatever strength he has left and stop Vaughn from stabbing him unfortunately Vaughn only presses on and stabs Jeremy in his left shoulder

The old hunter twists the knife around in Jeremy's shoulder as you can hear him scream out in pain

Vaughn:I don't mess around with witches

Vaughn pulls the knife out and pushes Jeremy to the ground making sure that this time he actually stays down as Jeremy tries to argue against using the cure on Silas

"You can't use the cure on Silas!"

Vaughn looks down at Jeremy and yells at him knowing that he is far too young to understand what kind of a threat Silas is

Vaughn:It's what it's meant for! What else would you use it for?

Vaughn uses his shirt and wipes the blood off the knife and nods understanding why Jeremy so desperately wanted the cure

Vaughn:Your friends...your sister? Sorry, lad but even I can see your own friends and family are using you to get what they want

Jeremy puts his hand on his bleeding shoulder and tries to get back but he couldn't bring himself to do it; as he took the old hunter's words in ever since he had gotten this supernatural world. People would think that he couldn't handle it or was too young to understand but he could..even more then his own sister

Vaughn brings Jeremy back to reality as he bends down toward Jeremy and puts the knife against the young Gilbert's throat to end him but suddenly Elena swoops in and attacks Vaughn

She grabs Vaughn by the back of his head and shows her sharp vampiaric fangs and gets ready to sink them into the old hunter's throat to drain him of his blood but Jeremy quickly reminds what will happen

"Don't! The hunter's curse!"

Elena pauses and instead throws Vaughn to the ground and apparently knocks him unconscious as she holds her hand out and helps Jeremy back up to his feet; he does his best to keep himself from falling back over and makes it over to Bonnie who was still badly hurt

"Elena's here now, okay? Everything's gonna be all right.."

Bonnie weakly smiles back at Jeremy even though they were together anymore, she still cared about Jeremy just like any would as he felt the same way about her

Jeremy feels Elena put her hand on his shoulder and tells him that they need to go back up to the surface as Jeremy gets up and points to Bonnie

"You have to help Bonnie, the hunter stabbed her in the back you have to feed her your blood"

Elena:Okay but I just need to make sure that you're okay first

Jeremy felt like something was off about Elena, she'd never just put Jeremy first without making sure her friends were okay as he moved her hand off his shoulder

"I'm fine, what are you doing?"

Elena turns back around and points over to the cure

Elena:Jeremy, after everything we've been through it's right there!

Jeremy looks at Elena and tells her that the cure will still be there after they help Bonnie as Jeremy crouches down to help Bonnie up to her feet but what Jeremy hears catches him

Elena:God, I forgot what a brat you were

Jeremy looks away from Bonnie as he stares at Elena a bit confused until it finally struck him; this wasn't Elena..it was Katherine

Katherine:I'm done playing nice

Katherine grabs Jeremy and vamp-speeds him over to the tomb as she slices open his wrist and holds it over the stone figure's mouth; she uses her fangs and bites into Jeremy's neck and forcefully holds him down as Silas grabs Jeremy and starts to drink his blood

Jeremy tries his best to get out of Silas's grip but the more he tries, the more Silas refuses to let him go until he wraps his hand around Jeremy's neck and with one simple twist; he snaps it..killing Jeremy as he falls to the ground lifeless with his eyes still unfortunately open as Bonnie looks on in horror at her friend laying in front of her now gone

Tears fall from her eyes and roll down her cheek as she cries out for Jeremy as the cave around her begins to violently rumble around her; Bonnie frantically tries to get to Jeremy only to find out that his body is gone from where it was just a couple of seconds ago; out of the corner of Bonnie's eye she could've sworn she saw something--someone starring back at her as the Bennet witch blinked only for that someone to just disappear into thin air but before leaving a large carved word into the rocks in front of her

For that very name would bring upon something unforseen in the supernatural world; something no one not even someone like Silas would ever except to see..a name of great value to the first generation of immortal vampires
