Chapter 12
WHEN I HAD WOKEN UP THAT AFTERNOON FREDDIE HAD BEEN GONE AND my friends were all just talking between themselves. We continued speaking and then they started to go to sleep. But since i had had a nap earlier i wasn't tired. So i was down when drippy wanted to get ice cream
"I loved it last time" i whispered as we walked inside and she nodded. We picked up our spoons and grabbed tubs
"So how did it go with freddie? we came in and saw you both cuddled together. He left not long after and it was so cute" i rolled my eyes and took another spoonful
"He's telling his mom. He's probably told her already so i might be kicked out tomorrow morning" drippys eyes widened and i nodded
"At least Poppy will get what she wants. To go home" i sighed softly
"Do you believe her?" I asked
"I dunno" drippy shrugged "It was kinda all laid out for us, wasn't it?"
"But she seems so adamant it wasn't her"
"You know what? We'll look through it tomrorrow. Because whoever did send the emails to us, must've had hers" drippy said and i nodded. We both placed our ice creams back and drippy opened the door
Immediately heat rushed to our faces and we saw the place on fire. We screamed and quickly shut the door before turning to each other in a panic
"Oh my gosh" she whispered "We're gonna die in here" i shook my head as i treid to think of something
"Let me go check the exit. We might have to run for it" I suggested
"What? No!"
"drippy, we will actually die in here. I have to" she went quiet and i nodded. I opened the door and stepped outside, ignoring my skin that was heating up quickly. I moved forward and looked to the exit to see it empty
i quickly turned back to the freezer but my foot tripped on something and i went head first to the ground. I let off a large groan and got up to my knees and used the side to pull myself up
I knocked on the freezer door and drippy opened it and pulled me inside, shutting the door tightly be beside her
"What is it?" She questioned
"Its..." just as the words went to leave my mouth i dropped to the floor, drippy barely catching me before i met the ground
- FREDDIE'S POV
Everyone stood outside the building after an actual fire alarm. I stood beside my mom and jack in front of everyone else whilst my mom was calling out everyones names
I had told my mom about me and Nova earlier today. She said she wasn't gonna expel Nova, which was all i could wish for. But she wasnt exactly happy about me being with her
