Sponge on The Run: Original script

Part 1: Begging

(After the song finishes, it transitions to a massive fleet of Spaceships shaped like cats. We get an interior of The Spaceship with the leader, Mittens, Wrapping his Purple robe around him. The bay doors of the ship open, and Mittens walks out)

Mittens: Hello, Pea brain citizens of Bikini Bottom. We don't come in peace-

(The commander cat freezes mid sentence, to realize his Armanda has lander in a modernly sized home)

Mittens: (Frustrated) Pumpkin!

(Pumpkin, The carefree lieutenant, peeks his head over the ship door)

Mittens: (Frustrated) Why are we here?!? We're supposed to be on the island of Bikini Atoll!

Pumpkin: Well funny thing, the Spaceships guide maps weren't working properly. So we were going to land all the way back in Australia because that was one of the closest areas to Bikini Atoll, but then I realized we wouldn't be able to survive in a heatstroke dessert-

(Mittens is getting visibly angrier, with his eye twitching)

Pumpkin: So I decided to land in Hawaii, Where everything goes wrong!

(Mittens is shaking violently, while banging his head repetitively)

Pumpkin: So I'm pretty sure Bikini Bottom is only 20 miles from(Pumpkin slows down talking)....master?

Mittens: (Frustrated) Soldiers! Feed him to the dog! I don't want to see him again!

(One of The Soldiers grabs him by the arm and pulls him off screen)

Mittens: Everyone back on the ship!

Soldiers: Awwwwww....

Mittens: Don't "Aww" me! It's the lieutenant's fault! But don't worry, he won't be here long.

(Cuts back to the lieutenant being dragged by the arm into a cage, kicking and screaming with Mittens following behind him)

Pumpkin: No! No! No! No! No! Sir you can't do this to me!

(Mittens just smugly chuckles as he watches Pumpkin get thrown into the cage)

A Crowd of Cats: FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

(A live action Pitbull walks outs of a shadowy corner before it lunges at Pumpkin)

Mittens: Stop.

(The Dog freezes before attacking Pumpkin)

Mittens: You seem good as a watch guard. Can you do that?
