‘It’s burnout I guess. Eclipse handed me a notebook and a pen and said journaling would help, so I guess I’m doing this now. He wants me to get better, Lunar wants me to get better, but I don’t care. Why does it matter? It doesn’t matter. They’re smarter than me, why do they think it matters? They wanted me to go for a walk to the park, but I really don’t care. It’s not going to help. Lunar keeps telling me to smile, and Eclipse keeps trying to just get me out of bed every morning. I get my stitches taken out tomorrow, then I have to go to work a day later. On the walk to the park, Jax said something about my cutting, so now Eclipse and Lunar know about that. Great, right?’

She closed the notebook, nothing else to write. She set the journal and pen back in her bag and just continued to stare at nothing. Eclipse put an arm around her, pulling her closer, up against him. She put up no fight and just let him.

They had stayed out at the park while Jax played with his friends pretty late. By the time they started heading back, the sky had an orange and pink gradient as the sun began to set. Eclipse held her hand tight as they walked back, Lunar pushing Jax’s ‘bike’. When they got home, Eclipse walked upstairs with Y/N, but she didn’t head to her room, she went to the project room. Eclipse stood in the doorway as she sat down at her desk. “What are you working on?”
“Something.”
Eclipse sighed, walking over to her and placing a kiss on her head. “Go to bed soon, it’s getting late.” He told her softly before walking out.

Y/N picked up the pants she was making for Bloodmoon. It was almost finished, she just needed to sew up the side.

Bloodmoons shirt and pants were finished, and Y/N was putting the red and black fabrics together for his hat and cowl. She had put the cowl together, since it was smaller, and was almost done with the hat, after that, she’d need to put stars on them. She glanced at her phone for the time; 11:46 PM. She set the hat down, getting up and stretching. She walked out, turning the lights off.

As she walked back to her room, she saw Lunar asleep under the covers. He must’ve fallen asleep waiting for her. She walked in, closing the door behind her. The only light in the room came from Lunars slightly open mouth and his claws. Y/N got under the covers with him, laying her head on his chest and wrapping herself around him. He seemed to flinch a bit, waking up. He looked down at her, her eyes closed. He smiled softly and placed a hand on her back, laying his head back again and closing his eyes.

When Y/N woke up, her shoulder was being shaken by Lunar. “Hey.. Daydream, we have to leave, come on, get ready to go..”
Y/N sat up and rubbed sleep from her eyes. It still looked early in the morning. Lunar stopped shaking her. “Get ready to go, Eclipse is waiting for you downstairs.” He kissed her head and stood up, walking out.
Y/N was still extremely groggy from sleep as she put fresh clothes on and brushed her hair.

As she walked downstairs, Eclipse was leaning against the front door. He waited as she put her boots on, walking outside with her. She went to get in the drivers seat, but Eclipse pushed her aside. “I don’t think so. I don’t trust you to drive with your current mental state, passenger seat, now.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, going around to the passenger seat. She put her seatbelt on, using the seat adjuster to make it so she could lay down. She closed her eyes as Eclipse started the car and pulled out of the driveway. He knew she was tired, so he let her nap in the passenger seat.

Eclipse had woken her back up once they got to the hospital where she’d get her stitches out. The doctor had said they needed to give her sedatives just in case something went wrong, since the placement of the stitches was a sensitive part of her stomach. The last thing Y/N remembered was them putting a mask on her.
