Chaoter 14: heartbreack

Casey's PoV

Thud

This isn't the way I want to wake up. I opened my eyes to see that hunter was no longer in bed or in our dorm there was a note saying that he'd gone to get breakfast

"Okay okay I'm coming chill" I said yawning .

I opened the door and there was hunter with breakfast in his hands and an apologetic smile

"I forgot my keys" he said shyly . I hit his arm and grabbed the food and brought it to the counter and I started to eat. What I'm hungry

I got a phone call from a the hospital I immediately picked up

"Hello" I asked worried

"Hello is this Casey Britain?" A voice asked from the end of the line

"Yes" I said slowly

"Um this is doctor Reid your mother and brother are here after an incident that happened earlier today"

"I'll be right there" I dropped everything I grabbed my legging and a vest and chucked them on and I grabbed my Keys

Hunters PoV

"I'll be right there" Casey dropped the food ran into the bathroom and came out dressed she grabbed her keys

"Where are you going?" I asked her she looked at me

"Hospital my mum and brother.." I grabbed the car keys from her hand and grabbed hand and walked out the door with her

"Hunter you dont have to drive" she says

"Yes I do" I say. I drove to the hospital as quickly as I could occasionally looking at Casey but she was the same emotionless she's afraid to let her emotions catch up with her well that's what people learn to do in gangs I suppose. Once we arrived Casey got out the car and ran to the entrance I had to run really fast to catch up with her.

"My names Casey Britain I'm here to see Sarah Britain and Charlie Britain" she said, the nurse looked up and smiled sympathetically

"3rd floor room 22" Casey ran over to the lift I said thank you to the nurse and ran over to Casey she waited for the lift for a few seconds before sighing and running up the stairs I ran after her calling her name a couple of time but she didn't slow down so I sped up we were now at floor 3 and Casey walked slowly to room 22 she stopped before entering taking a deep breath I gave her a reassuring smile. She stepped in and the doctors left.

She ran up to the bed which her mother was in and then to to the bed which her brother was in her mother had bruises all over her face with her right eyes swollen shut but her brother looked munched better he had a black eyes and a bruise on his cheek

"What happened?" She asked her brother because her mother was unconscious

"Well I don't know we were driving to come visit you and the a carve swerved towards us and then it ran us of the road we went into a ditch" he said not looking at either of us but looking at his mum

"Oh my god Charlie" she said hugging him he winced in pain she apologised quietly and went to her mothers bed

"How long has she been out?"

"Ever since the crash" he said tears in his eyes Casey sat down by her mothers bed . She kissed her mothers head and whispers something in her ear she looked at me her eyes filled with different emotions.

She looked at the bedside table and there was three red roses there and a card she picked it up and stared at it I saw a tear fall from her faced but all that emotion was changed to anger and venom she looked at her brother who had fallen asleep and the at her mother and then at me I gave her a questioning look and she handed me the card that was with the 3 roses

Dear Casey,
I told you Casey I'm going to destroy you and your perfect life starting with your mother and brother and then your boyfriend. Do you like these roses one from your mother,one for your brother and one from hunter and the other one you got before that's for you Casey. I can't wait to kill everybody you love. I can't wait to see you beg and plead for your life to remain a life.

I looked at Casey there was nothing but anger in her features I went to hug her but she just clenched her fist so the turned white and said

"I'm going to kill him hunter I'm going to kill all of them" she said strongly I was a little afraid of her at the moment

"I love you" I say proudly

"I love you to hunter thank you" she said smiling. That's when we heard one long beep . Casey face fell from a smile into a frown she looked at her mother and shook her head

"No..no no no" she said shakily. A doctor came in telling us to wait outside
"NO NO MUM MUMMY" Casey was now shouting I lifted her up and carried her out in a bridal style I sat down on a seat outside the room with Casey in my lap
"No hunter why...why she did nothing wrong it was me all me" she said hitting my chest and whimpering in my lap. I held her a face up to mine

"None of this was your fault Casey don't ever say that" I put our fore heads together after a while the doctor came out and said

"I am so sorry Ms Britain but.."
"No no" Casey cut him of and hugged me tighter I hugged her back

"It's okay it's okay Casey" I said stroking her hair

"I love you" she said kissing my lips lightly
After 2 hours of sitting with Casey's brother and talking to him visiting hours were over,
"Bye" I said to her brother

"Hunter treat her well" he said smiling. I nodded and walked out after Casey.

Casey was sat in the car she officially heartbroken. My Casey was heartbroken.

I made her some food when we got back her eyes were red raw from crying and she hugged me tightly as we payed in bed and she soon fell asleep
