Picture Above Of Evi Rain
Heavy rain poured down from the sky with no end in sight covering the whole world and Evi along with in a sheet of cold water. Rain drops hit my face as I stared up at the dark sky as the rain fell all around me blanketing me in nothing but it's coldness. Standing there I thought of the last words my boyfriend now my ex had said with his parting words.
"Your just far too dull for me. I'm sorry but it's over, I'm breaking up with you. Goodbye Evi."
A deep frown now all over my face as I keep thinking about what he said to me and thinking too that maybe he may of been right. Evi had always been a shy and cautious type of woman and that was much the same with dating a guy. Never knowing how to be around a guy or knowing if she could trust that the guy liked her or not. She'd met far too many cheats and liars all only out to satisfy there lust for my body then once they had it they'd change and dump me. Leaving me more hurt and untrusting with each new guy I'd date after that. So after dating so many bad eggs Evi got to a point where she'd date but never be serious so it was more like she had a sex friend then dating the guy. And just like the last this guy that broke up with her was only out for her body and then he left once he got what he was after. Evi was so tired of it she just wanted to meet a guy that wasn't like the rest that wanted not just her body but her heart as well.
"Will I ever meet the one?"
Evi couldn't help but shed a few tears of longing at that thought that may never happen. Rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand she glanced around noticing she was still standing on the same sidewalk she'd been on since her ex left. People with umbrellas gave her funny looks as they passed by every so often. She looked down at her clothes they were soaked through and sticking like glue to her pale white skin. Wearing a long sleeve plain black t-shirt and grey pants with grey shoes to match her simple outfit. Evi hadn't brought an umbrella with her when she'd left her apartment since she was trying to make it in time to meet her boyfriend which was now her ex. So with no cover from the rain that was still coming down like a relentless assault on all those below Evi began her long walk back to her apartment.
While I walked down the street I got this bad feeling like I was being followed but each time Evi glanced back she saw no one. That only made her walk that much faster her instincts telling her not to let her guard down one bit.
By the time she was standing in front of her apartment building she was huffing and puffing like she'd just ran a marathon. Looking around she didn't see any signs that gave away someone was still following her now. So she finally dropped her guard letting out a loud sigh of relief thinking she must of been imagining things. Taking out her keys from her back pocket of her pants she was just about to put it into the doors key lock when out of no where an unknown hand came into her view. Putting a white cloth down over my nose and mouth the strong smell of chloroform took over all my senses. Not even having a chance to put up a fight within seconds my vision blurred and then everything went dark as I fell unconscious.
"Are the gifts all here and ready to be shipped to them?"
"Yes Sir. As always we picked only the best for them. So they should be pleased and not be angry with our choices."
"Good. It's not easy getting our hands on the people that we have taken so far. Luckily most of these people that go missing don't have anyone that would go looking for them."
"Yes Sir. That's true. It's a good thing we do back round checks on them all just in case."
"Indeed it is. Anyway with this months haul they should be happy so that's all that matters."
"I'm sure they shall Sir."
"These people when they come to and see there locked in a small metal container are in for the shock of there lives. They have no idea what there in for once they get to where they're going."
