Question: Trans/Gender-Neutral Community

There're a lot of different gender identities I'm still don't know much about. Everyone has different experiences that eventually turns them into how they are today. I'm still not sure how everything works though. One of the things I hear a lot is that trans people have something called gender dysphoria. Which apparently happens when someone starts to have conflict with their gender identity (not sure if this is accurate though). I'm not sure how someone can tell if someone has gender dysphoria. A lot of times people have told me that if someone of a certain biological sex like a woman, likes to do things that aren't considered "feminine", then they're trans. I don't think that's how that works but I'm not within the community as far as I know. Someone once told me that if a trans man acts feminine, they aren't actually trans or they regret transitioning. I personally think that if cis people can do things out of their gender norm, why can't trans people. Of course, that's all just my opinion. Question of the day is "How does being trans work?"
