Chapter 4 - Kitten in a library

Start from the beginning

I wanted to shout, to scream and to wreck her! But that's what she wants, isn't it? Me minding her some more. Well, I won't give it to her. Let her think I'm running. Let her think whatever she wants! I have no obligation to answer her pleas. She's just a doll that is so bored by a child that she has to torment a teenager. If that isn't just sad I don't know what is. My face revolves back to a relaxed form and then forms into a soft closed-eyed smile.

"I don't think that's your fucking business now is it M3GAN?"

"𝙾𝚑, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚢 𝚋𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜 (𝚈/𝙽)... 𝚆𝚑𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚘𝚛 𝚗𝚘𝚝." She grins with eyes full of mischief as she draws closer and closer. Our noses almost touching. The words that leave her mouth leave an impression that it's as if she knows something more than I do. My mouth parts in apparent confusion. Her grin stretches further, and she takes a step back.

"𝙸 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙸 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚎𝚍. 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚐𝚘 𝚗𝚘𝚠." She bows and moves to the side with her arm stretched out indicating a pose that she's welcoming me in and letting me pass. My confusion turns to frustration at knowing no matter how much I ask she won't say anything. That's what I hate about this relationship. When I crack, she sees through. When she does, I can't.

I scoff at her and walk forward. My eyes stray from hers as I walk away. Before I reach the stairs, she speaks once more.

"𝙾𝚑, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐..." She hums.

I turn around to see what is it that she wants, and I see that she's holding in her giggles as her smile stretches up to her eyes. Her lips part as she delivers the punchline.

"𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚑𝚢𝚜𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚗 𝙳𝚛 𝚂𝚑𝚎𝚙𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚒𝚝." Her eyes shine in mischief while my eyes glaze in evident confusion. Then something clicks in my mind and I look down at my hand holding 'The Murder of Roger Ackroyd'. My eyes widen and for a moment all I see is red. I lift my head and shout-

"YOU LITTLE SHIT I'M GOING TO USE YOU AS A CAR BATTERY!" I roar and she only grins further. For such a small mouth she sure knows how to grin. She shifts in her place into a damsel's position with her hands behind her back and smiles.

"𝙸𝚝'𝚜 𝚐𝚘𝚘𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚋𝚊𝚌𝚔! 𝙴𝚗𝚓𝚘𝚢 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔..." She says and then articulates and disappears into the next room and out of my sight. I seethe and am ready to punch a wall but I know better than to punch a wall of cement because of her of all things. That's right. I should remind myself more often. She's not a person. She's an object.

Don't let a walking car battery get in your head (Y/N)...

I tell myself and ascend the stairs before walking to my room to read my newly bought and spoiled book...

===================================

(A/N): I feel like my writing is getting worse as the chapters go on. Also if you feel like this book feels erotic even though nothing is happening then I'm doing it on purpose cause there's something really wrong with me. If you hadn't noticed it really shows how bad I'm at writing :D

Either way, I hope you liked this chapter! Tell me your thoughts in the comments!
