Inangat nito ang ulo mula sa pag kakayuko. And she was surprised to see his eyes swollen and red.

Kumunot ang noo niya. Umiyak ba ito?

Mukhang napansin nito ang pag titig niya sa mga mata nito. Mabilis itong umiwas sa titig niya. He cleared his throat. Kinusot din nito ang mga mata.

"B-Babe. P-Pasensiya na napuwing ako kanina. I tried to remove the dirt from my eyes kaso lang nakusot na ata kaya ito namumula."

Lumapit si Raven dito. "As a doctor alam mo namang bawal kusutin ang mga mata kapag may foreign object di ba? You should dip your eyes open on a bowl of water. Napuwing ka ba o umiyak ka? May problema ba sa bahay niyo?"

Ang lame kasi ng excuse nito kaya alam niyang may hindi ito sinasabi sa kanya. Her heart ached for him.

"I-It's nothing, Babe."

"Alam mong hindi mo kailangang itago sakin kapag may problema ka di ba?"

Raven can't help but say it. Akala niya tapos na sila sa pag tatago ng problema sa isa't isa pero mukhang may hindi na naman sinasabi sa kanya ang nobyo.

Tumunog na naman ang pager and Raven can't help but roll her eyes.

"Doc Mondragon. Please come to the board office immediately. Thank you."

Ilang beses na ba siyang natawag sa pager?

Gusto niya talagang mag sungit ngayong araw dahil sa ginawa ng mama niya. Bakit ba nag mamadali itong sabihin kay Caleb na tatanggalin na nito si Charlie sa patient na hawak ng boyfriend niya?

Is her mother serious about separating them? Dahil kung oo ay mukhang mag tatagumpay ito but she won't let that happen.

"Wait lang at pupunta muna ako ng office ni Doctor Carter."

Raven smiled at him. "Andito na si Doc Carter sa harap mo."

A smile broke out of his face. And Raven felt like she won a million dollar dahil napangiti niya ito.

Hinawakan nito ang pisngi niya. "Thanks, Rave. I promise sasabihin ko sayo ang gumugulo sa isip ko. Please don't judge me for it."

Kumunot ang noo niya. She stopped the laughter that bubbled in her throat nang makitang seryoso nga ito.

"Alright. Para namang nakabuntis ka ng ibang babae para sabihin mong wag kitang i-judge."

His smile didn't reach his eyes. "Alright. Mamaya na lang muna kita kakausapin, Babe. Baka masako ako ng mama mo."

Raven watched Caleb's shoulder. Bakit bagsak pa rin ang balikat ng mahal niya? Did she really impregnate someone? Or he really has a problem.

What could she do for him? Should she follow him and tell him that she didn't know what her mother was thinking? That she doesn't have the intention of taking his patients?

Napasabunot si Raven sa buhok niya. She inhaled deeply.

She should really talk to him. Kaya naman pumihit siya pabalik sa pinanggalingan niya.

"Hi. What are you doing out here?"

Napahawak si Raven sa dibdib niya nang makita si Charlie sa harap niya. Ngumiti ito ng pilya. Pagkatapos ay dumiretso din ito nang tayo.

Charlie had a smile on her lips habang nakatingin ito sa kanya. "This is the first time. You look so shocked, Doc."

Raven cleared her throat. But she couldn't stop the smile that made its way to her lips. She never thought that Charlie is playful. "I didn't saw you coming. Nabigla ako. Ikaw, what are you doing out here? Baka— "

"Oh, yeah." Charlie's lips tugged up in a corner but it was a forced smile. "I know. Now I had seen you. Babalik na ako sa kwarto ko. Don't mind me."

"Charlie...." Raven wants to call out Charlie pero tuloy tuloy lang ang pag lakad nito papunta sa kwarto nito. Mukhang nag tampo sa kanya ang dalaga.

Delikado kasi para dito ang mag lakad lakad ng walang nakatingin. Charlie could collapse and she might hit her head kapag inatake ito ng sakit nito. She couldn't bear the thought na hindi niya ito sinabihan if something bad happens.

Nilingon niya ang deriksiyon na pinuntahan ni Caleb then to where Charlie had gone to. Hindi niya alam tuloy kung sino ang susundan niya. Pero mas mahalaga ngayon sa kanya si Caleb. She just can't let her mother shame her fiancée.

Pumihit siya para bumalik sa office ng mama niya. Malalaki ang mga hakbang niya patungo doon. She only stopped when she saw Caleb out of the door.

Bagsak ang balikat nito habang nakayuko.

"C-Caleb."

Nag angat ito ng tingin at nag tama ang mga mata nila. Raven quickly went to his side and tried to hug him but he pushed her away. Kunot na kunot ang noo nito. There was also a hurt expression in his eyes.

"Alam mo ba ang plano ng mama mo?"

"No. Of course not but you wouldn't listen even if I tell you now---"Umiling si Raven and she tried to touch him but Caleb must have set his minds. Tumalikod ito sa kanya at tuloy tuloy na umalis.

She was about to go after him but she thinks that Caleb needed time to clear his mind. Siguradong makikita din nito na totoo ang sinasabi niya.
