Chapter 1 (LAFS)

My story doesn't start from once upon a time and ends at a happily ever after..

My story starts here...

I'm Wine Mercado. 18 years old, I'm living on my own. I like parties, going clubbing every night is like going to school every day. Smoking is my habit lalo na pag stress ako at may gumugulo sa utak ko. Liquor is my water and hang over is my morning ritual.

Siguro iniisip nyong pariwara akong babae, that my parents didn't raise me well, that I have a huge problem in my life that burdens me.

Nope. You're wrong guys, I'm from a Buena familia. We have a huge family business. I don't have a huge problem, my parents raised me well, I guess? But one thing I'm not sure is that am I really a part of that family? Nakakatawa pero hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa din sigurado kung anak ba talaga nila ako o kung parte ba talaga ako ng pamilya. They act so cold to me .. to the point na wala silang pakialam sa life style ko. But who damn cares? as long as I have my money with me, kaya kong mabuhay.

Well, that's my life!

"Wine let's go! They're waiting for us!" sigaw ni LJ sakin na may kasamang katok pa.

"I'm coming!" sigaw ko din saka sinuot ang black wedge shoes ko. I'm not that tall so I need heels, wedges and those sorts of stuff to add to my short height. I find this funny because both of my parents are tall, even my cousins. 

I flashed a smile in front of my mirror, cool, it's time to party!

Sumakay kami sa sasakyan ni Bert, one of the guys that I have met at some club.

Sa loob pa lang ng ssakyan ay hyper na sila, syempre naka inom na yan bago pa pumunta ng club,  like the usual, I'm from school kaya hindi naka shot, I just took a shower and dressed para makahabol sa kanila.

"It's another night to rock on!" sigaw ni Mox na driver namin, dalawa kami ni ;LJ na nasa backseat habang dalawa naman sila na nasa harapan. Mabilis na ang pagda-drive ni Mox, no big deal at all, sanay na kami. It's either masisita kami ng Traffic enforcer at maglalagay ng pera or sa ospital kami tutuloy. Yun lang sa dalawa.

But this time, wala namang nangyaring masama. Nakarting kami sa club ng maayos. Diretso sa VIP lounge. Let's get this party started!

T'was around midnight when we got bored..

Like the usual, pag walang chix na matipuhan sila Mox, mag aaya na lumipat, to find some. Hindi pwedeng wala syang chix this night. Like c'mon that's basic. Lalaki yan, they can't live without girls. Girls are life! or so they say.

"I know some place come on!" prisinta ni Bert.

Nakatingin lang kami ni LJ sa kanila habang palabas ng club.

"Where?" Mox asked.

"At My Cousin's condo!" masigla nyang sabi.

"So what are you waiting for guys? Tara.." nauna na kami ni LJ sumakay sa backseat ng sasakyan.

We went to a condominium building around Quezon City. Madali kaming nakapsok dahil nasabihan na pala ng pinsan ni Bert na dadating kami..

Pagkalabas ng elevator ay tinahak namin ang hallway. After five doors, Bert pressed the  buzzer, not a minute passed, the door opened.

"Woah.." we all gasped upon seeing the crowd. It was ecstatic. This is the kind of party we were craving for.

"C'mon!" nag unahan na kaming pumasok nila LJ, as soon as I get skin to skin sa mga taong nandun, my vibe turned on. As I thought, this is the party we're looking for!

I was having the time of my life dancing, partying, drinking. After a few hard drinks I opted for a punch. Sanay ako sa mga hard drinks, but this time I feel like having a punch so I'm having a punch. Humiwalay ako kina LJ and Mox. Tumambay ako sa terrace para magpahangin, I'm thinking 'bout my life. The hell .. eto ang ayaw ko, yung sumasagi yung buhay ko sa utak ko.

Without looking, tinapon ko yung baso ng punch ko. Konti na lang din namana ng laman kaya wala na kong pakialam. Party goers don't care.

"Sht." Nagulat na lang ako ng may boses lalaking nagsalita sa gilid ko. Tiningnan ko sya. Weird. He's not like the normal men na makikita sa club or parties.

"Sorry." Yun lang at nilagpasan ko na din sya para bumalik sa loob.

Ineeexpect ko na magrereact sya like, 'what the hell yun lang sasabihin mo?' then magkakakilala kami, and in the end booom, we barely knew each other.

Pero nakailang hakbang na ako sa kanya, wala akong narinig kundi 'tsk. Nilinngon ko sya at nakitang pinupunsan ang dulo ng pantalon nya. Cool.

Tumuloy na lang ako at nilapitan sila LJ na nagsasayaw. Sumabay ako sa kanila. After a few moments, I'm back in the game and forgot what my mind's thinkin' a while ago. This is what I love, liquors help me forget even for a while.

4am ng magkaayaan kaming uwi. Pero bumulong pa sakin si Chao, yung Pinsan ni Bert, na may gusto daw kumuha ng number ko.

"Sure. Bigay mo lang! kunin mo kay Bert." I tap Bert's shoulder na katabi ko habang sinsabi yun.

"I'll send it to you later.." nagpaalam na kami sa kanya at symepre hinatid kami ni Mox pauwi.

Maliwanag na ng maramdaman ko ang lambot ng kama ko. Gusto ko ng ipikit ang mga mata ko. But my phone beeped.
