"Its the address in the report."
He replied.
"Right... okay... let's get going."
Hank sighed after collecting himself a little.
Hank got out first, hitting his head on the car as he did.
Connor and I followed behind him, side by side.
I think Connor could tell something wasn't right with me but decided to not say anything thank god.
Through the rain, in glowing magenta signs said the word "Eden Club"
Walking into the entrance hallway, the walls were covered with giant screens of sexy androids with a magenta filter on top, the phrase "sexiest androids in town".
Hank sighed.
"Sexiest androids in town..."
He said in disbelief, then turned to Connor over his shoulder.
"Now I know why you insisted on coming here."
He snickered, before continuing inside.
Connor and I traded a look, and I dont know why but... I felt a little warmth in my cheeks at Hanks targeted joke at Connor.
Once inside the blaring music and the bright lights gave me a bit of a headache but we pushed through to Ben.
Looking around, there were androids pole dancing and others just swaying seductively in their little boxes, waiting to be picked.
I quickly averted my eyes back to Ben and Hank when one of the lady androids dancing winked at me, feeling my cheeks get warm I pinched my arm.
"Its that room there."
Ben pointed after greeting all of us.
"Oh and uh by the way... Gavins in there to."
I internally groaned at the thought of having to deal with two dead people...
Gavin and the corpse.
"Oh great. Dead body and an asshole just what we needed..."
Hank sighed in annoyance.
We didn't wait long before the three of us entered the room.
"Lieutenant Anderson, Detective Grey and their plastic pet. What the fuck are you three doing here?"
Gavin spat at us.
I was ready to tear him to shreds given my current mood.
But Connor responded.
"We've been assigned all cases involving androids."
"Oh yeah? Well you're wasting your time."
Gavin snickered, his arms crossed over his chest.
"Just some pervert who uh, heh, got more action then he could handle."
