The two friends talked for a while trying to calm down their senses, that sudden power outage had their souls transcending so it was best for them to just try and calm down. Katie went to check the cameras again and all she saw was a pitch black figure with what seemed to be two googly eyes staring back at her. She could help but start laughing; Yasu walked over to see what Katie was laughing at. The moment he caught sight at what she was staring at he started to wheeze and cackle.
"Why does he look like that- I'm sorry-" Yasu wheezed, the two continued to giggle at the goofy man that was staring down the camera. Suddenly the camera cut to static and the two immediately stopped laughing and frantically flipped through the cameras to see where the guy went. Soon the old phone went off even though the phone line had been broken and was currently being fixed.
"YASU DO SOMETHING!" katie yelled over the blaring ringing of the phone
"WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?! I DON'T KNOW HOW THE THING WORKS!" he replied angrily.
"WHY DID THE PHONE HAVE TO START WORKING AS SOON AS U GOT HERE" Kaite screamed back.Yasu located the figure on the cameras as katie fixed the horrid noise that was coming from the phone. They breathed a sigh of relief, Katie continued to check the cameras while Yasu was making sure that the phone would keep silent.
"Ok- that guy is like right outside my door, uhm." Katie said to herself, the person was not moving whatsoever. Was this thing even a person or was it something else. Whatever it was it surely wasn't human, it couldn't be. Katie suddenly felt something on her shoulders, in response she jumped and screamed.
"Chill out Katie, it's just me. Anyway I just wanted to see what you mean by "he's outside your door." Yasu said, trying to see what was on the camera. Katie sighed and got up from the chair and leaned on the table where the telephone was. Yasu sat down and stared at the monitor in front of him. Katie could see his face heat up- what was he looking at? Why was he blushing... There were so many questions that circled her mind when she saw that. Her thoughts were cut off by the sound of an ear piercing ring, she quickly silenced it. Her curiosity is now replaced by anger and annoyance.
For a while there was nothing but silence, that silence lasted until the odd man broke into Katie's house. Katie pushed Yasu aside to see where the man was in her house, luckily it was just in the living room. Oddly enough she saw that the intruder had not taken anything like a normal burglar would.
"That thing broke my damn window," Katie sighed angrily, she couldn't call the cops due to the phone line being temporarily shut off or something and she had to stay in a room that didn't have a bathroom. The only good thing about it was that she could keep watch of the odd man. Yasu's voice snapped her back to reality,
"Katie the guy is in the hallway, what do we do?" He asked frantically getting up, without thinking Katie ran to the lights and turned them off. She dragged Yasu into the closet and shut the door. Soon enough the intruder cracked open the door and walked in. They both froze in fear. That thing opened the closet door, looked around and suddenly shut it. The force that the intruder shut the door could have broken it. But luckily it didn't break. The two both sat in the closet for a bit but soon got out of it.
The moment they got out the damn phone started to ring again, they again fixed the sound that sounded as if it was warning them of something like a flash flood.
"I swear if I could get my hands on whatever that thing is I would kill him..." Katie heard Yasu mutter,
"Whoa there, Yasu, do you realize how tall this guy is? My cameras are sitting at the highest point in the house. There is no way a normal person could stare them down like he can." Katie explained, there was absolutely no way her friend could beat him in a fight. She was dreading that the intruder would break into her room and get her. All she wanted was to see the hot 7'2 frat boy that carried their college team one last time, or possibly get with the said 7'2 frat boy.
