Chapter - 30

The cake ~

It was a chocolate cake which everyone knows how much i hate except my wife and even if she knew she is the only one who can and for sure would pull these kinds of acts just so that she could piss me off .

I looked over at her with a slight sarcastic smile and her face looked like it was holding her back from breaking into a victory smile and to burst out laughing .

"Samaira , I told you to get a big fruit cake and a small chocolate cake for vedansh  not a big chocolate one and a small fruit one ." Maa scolded her but she innocently explained .

"Mom i didn't know ! I ordered that only i have no idea how the orders changed . Don't worry i will talk to that guy myself ."She said with an innocent and sweet tone trying to act all naive which she definitely isn't . She is an amazing liar and a fabulous actor . A complete drama queen .

"What will we do now brother - in - law can't even tolerate chocolate cake ." Pragya asked maa .

"No need to worry about anything pragya when we are here . We also brought a cake for Aniket but then we just thought that we will get him to cut it later . Just wait a minute i will go and grab it ." One of his friends wives spoke .

I looked over at her and looked at her sulking because she lost which didn't give me satisfaction because all i wanted was to just see her smile and for her to be happy .

The other cake ~

I cut both of the cakes and firstly fed my grandparents then my parents then it was her turn . When it was her turn i cut a piece of chocolate cake instead of fruit cake and fed her which she returned to my face wanting me to eat it . She was smiling innocently thinking that i won't eat it but i ate it even though I ate a little but still ate it and everyone present there were shocked . I only ate a little that too from the side she ate from .

Divya and divyank did both come back on time alive just with a little bruises and wounds and messed up hair .

When i turned back i saw my friends with cake in their hands and they just smashed it on my face . I was now looking like a joker and everyone was laughing , so was she , i am so going to get you for this Samaira. I went upstairs to wash my face and I knew that she would come with the towel just to tease me and she did .

"Towel !" She asked from outside the washroom .

"Yes ." I replied sweetly .

She held out her hand to hand me the towel but i just pulled her inside the washroom and caged her in my arms on the sink counter .

"What are you doing ? Leave me aniket ." She said looking at me in shock as to what just had happened .

"And why should I do that ?" I asked in the sweetest tone possible .

"Lagta hai mujhe maa bula Rahi hai ." She said trying to find a way out of this situation but i am not leaving her this easily today .

( "I think mother in law is calling me ." )

"Koi nahi bula Raha tumhe aur Jo tumhari aradhna karta hai uske bula par tum aati nahi ." I said coming dangerously close to her caging her more between my arms .

( "No one is calling you and you never hear the calls from the one who worships you." )

"Aniket , Step aside . You are covered in cake i don't want to get dirty ." She said squirming .

"If you wanna go then go i left you the second i caged you but it looked like you yourself wanted to stay so i didnt inform you ." I said teasing her and she looked down at her hands and then ran away embarrassed . I chuckled seeing her running figure and then washed myself up and went downstairs too .

The party winded up pretty quick after that but my friends took me out somewhere even though i didn't want to leave her i knew that they wouldn't listen . Then when i reached back home i found her already asleep so i also went ahead and changed and laid down on the bed beside her and after a few minutes sleep took over me .
