i knocked, once, twice, and then three times. my heart racing in my chest and my head buzzing from the thoughts that had no escape from my mind.
the door opened and nick stood there, he smiled at me and signaled for me to come in. i couldn't see chris anywhere, odd. i didn't mind though, i was too nervous to say anything to him anyways.
"is that her?" i heard a voice rush into the kitchen, i was greeted by the triplet of nick and chris, otherwise known as matt.
i stood there awkwardly as nick nodded and told matt the story, my legs felt like noodles and my hands were clammy. i suddenly felt stuck in their house and wanted nothing more than to run out and never turn around.
matt looked at me finally and raised his brows, "are you okay?"
"what do you mean? i'm fine." i say shakily, matt grins at me.
