Chapter IV: Unwanted Memories

Start from the beginning

It was the green haired boy, and he had been the one to settle the dust and leap into action. An within seconds a resounding boom. Immediately Titus saw the giant's face crater, while watching the boy levitate for a second more in the air. Titus was taken aback, he was amazed by how powerful the kid was. His Quirk, it was amazing as Titus began to think what was going to happen. If he has power to rise, does he have it to fall? Titus would begin to see his peer fall, seeing that he didn't seem to have a plan after. Titus would run forward, noticing a girl whom must've been saved by the young spastic kid. Reacting to someone in danger, what boldness! It made Titus tingle with energy and euphoria he didn't know he had.

As he neared the girl, he would drag metal debris behind himself. When he drew near to the girl, he would speak softly, "Save him." She would nod, determination in her eyes. The metal plates of robots he dragged behind him he would bring under the wreckage the girl had gotten herself on. With a quick look to the sky he would then nod before sending her into the sky. He threw her like a rock, that rock having a trail to the ground. When she reached him he smiled, seeing how teamwork was saving the life of another.

When she slapped the boy to now make him float, Titus would bring her closer to him. "I've got him!" This would prompt Titus to bring her to the ground, letting her and the boy be on ground again. Titus would now see just how bad the boys injuries were. Dear Lord, his arm and legs are broken! What is his quirk? Too much power, too much mass? Even though Titus' mind was running, he would bring the boy onto a stretcher of metal plates. As he looked to the boy, he could see a look of desperation, "Just need one point!" He wanted to get him to someone who could heal him, As his mind raced on what he just heard the boy say. N-no points. But I believed he took down that robot earlier. Did someone steal from him?

With no time remaining, Titus would hear Present Mic's voice boom, "And that's it. Time's up." Titus would look down to the boy, seeing tears in his eyes as he showed how defeated he looked. What are the eyes for? He got points correct?

Titus would soon realize how he was surrounded by other examinees around the boy and girl. Titus would step to the side, his metal tendril still holding the makeshift stretcher. He didn't want to be seen to much, attention wasn't his thing. He could hear how some of the examinees were amazed, yet those same ones also mocked the young peer who gave it his all for one girl.

"Did you see that dude's attack? I didn't think he had that kind of strength." Even Titus was amazed by the young peer's power, it was exemplary devastating to see a giant behemoth such as that robot fall to just one punch.
"Me either." Another examinee. "Looked like some kind of reinforcement-type Quirk, but... There was something else." Now that they were bringing it up within ear-shot, Titus was beginning to notice how this kid was onto something.
"If he has such an amazing Quirk, how come he didn't snag any points at all day?" Another talker.
"Maybe he was trying to trick all of us." Another...
"Joke's on him." Then another... "There's no way he's passing wi-!"

They would all stop, feeling the stare from Titus. How lethal it was, cutting into their hearts like a neat scalpel doing surgery. It was a delicate stare, one Titus didn't know he truly had at times. And it was his second time doing it. He stared at the boys who talked ruthlessly, none of them saw the point. If they were treating this like an exam, then they were mistaken. It was a mock battle. And for some reason, Titus' anger boiled in his eyes towards those whom would dare talk down on another. "Shut. It." From out of the blue Titus would hear a lady's voice.

"Very nice, good work all around. You're heroes in my eyes, every one of you." The sound of a cane against the ground accompanied her, her presence delicate and frail. "Here, reward yourselves. Have some gummies." Titus would see a small examinee be given some of the gummies from her, before she moved forward. An older lady, possibly in her young elder years and looking like a pro-hero. She would get thanks from those she rewarded with gummies, all before seeing Titus with the young peer he had in tow. "Bring the injured one over here."

Seeing her motion for the boy he had in tow made him comply, he made his way to her. "Oh, my goodness. You were hurt this badly by your own Quirk, sonny?" From there she would pucker her lips and kiss the peer on the head from a few inches away. "Gimme me some sugar suddenly seeing his body begin ot rapidly heal. From there Titus would let the boy be, setting the plates down as he walked out of the battle center. He wanted to be away from the crowd, his anxiety was making his heart race way too fast.

Soon would come for the writing portion, the examinees allowed to change back into their formal clothes with shower's being available for use. When everyone was ready the writing porion came, with that a few hours to also do it. After two hours they would finish, and from there the entrance was over with. When everyone was getting out, Titus took the time to head over to the main area where he'd hopefully find a teacher or faculty staff. As he made his way, he bumped into the girl that the green haired boy saved during combat. "Oh, hey! Your that quiet kid."

Titus felt extremely bashful, he didn't know how to respond to such a statement. Sure he didn't talk at all to anyone, but is that all he was called? Maybe talking would be helpful. But it's so hard... His soul was so dead to him, he didn't know how to react or feel about it when he looked into her eyes. He would nod to her statement though, just accepting the term as he'd ask. "Going to staff?" She would nod, grateful that he could see the same.

From there they both walked towards the teacher lounge, talked on wising to give the boy some points. In the end the teacher didn't allow them, giving a small explanation before they were told to go home. It was endearing how they wished to help, but upon knowing they couldn't Titus would trust that the kid did well. When he hopped off the train, Titus would get home within five minutes. When he opened the door, he would only begin to watch a new chaos unfold.

The doorknob would be dragged out of his hand, and a sudden torrent of weirdness would be brought around. Dragged swiftly into his apartment room, Titus would find himself before Toshiaki whom stood with a rather mad look. "You better explain the girl, boy." Titus would gulp, and Toshiaki could see some difference already. "Yet I'll spare you if you take her in." Titus would smile, only nodding as the door closed behind him.
