"You have to aim different from where the sun is." Jake says as me and Neteyam aim our bows at fish.

"Different?" I ask, confused.

"A small distance off. Based on where the sun is. I can't explain it, it's just a feeling."

I aim my bow at a fish. I look at the sun, and guess based off of the refraction of the water and the angle we're looking at. Neteyam and I both shoot, and go grab our arrows. Both have a fish.

"Neteyam, the mighty fisherman." Jake praises him happily as his fish flaps around on the arrow.

"It was right by the rock, like you said." Neteyam smiles in repsonse.

I almost expect Norm to be there, praising me, but I know he's at the lab. I'll just have to tell him later. His excitement won't be as expressive as Jake's though.

I keep my fish, praising myself. I know I did a good thing. It's just hard not having my father there to tell me I'm doing a good job. I watch as Neteyam hugs his father and lets him try. I wish my father was here. Or my mother. Someone to tell me "good job."
