Saebyuk's Point of View

We arrived at 'The N Tower' in nine minutes because Mark was literally going over eighty miles per hour.

With the police sirens of course.

When we arrived however, the boy was dangling alongside a high tower.

"Hey kid!" Mark shouted, "Do you wanna live your dreams and succeed?"

I now noticed it wasn't a little boy but a teen.

Wait, he goes to my college!

"C'mon, help me get him down. I know this kid from my college." I said and looked around for anything I can use to lift me up higher from the ground.

Mark looked.

"Uh, I see a broken stepladder." He said and pointed at it.

"Ok, I'll be right back." I said and begun to climb the uneven steps.

The board underneath my heavy shoes rattled underneath the rickety steps.

I finally reach Hyeonju and offered his hand.

"Here!" I shouted, "Take my hand! I'm not gonna hurt you!"

"How can I make sure you won't bring me to jail?" He sighed and stepped back a feet off the ground.

"Because," I said and reached for his hand, "every life's important in a unique way. Including yours."

He opened his mouth.

"I'm sorry Saebyuk. My life's too painful to live anymore." Hyeonju said and fell backwards.

"No!" I shouted and reached my hand to catch him.

I caught him with his finger tips.

"What're you doing? Let go of me!" He shouted.

"Life's precious. Don't throw away your life. There's a better way instead of suicide!" I said.

"Then prove it!" He shouted.

Now Hyeonju was crying.

"See the Seoul Ocean? It's beautiful all season long. I use to sit by the water with my parents in the fall and talk about my dreams and hopes," I said and tightened the grip in his hand, "the ocean was so pretty, I wanted to see it every year now. So don't kill yourself!" I shouted.

Hyeonju continued to cry.

"Goodbye Saebyuk." He said and tried to slip away with his hand.

"No!" I shouted and ran towards the bay area.

I looked at the murky depths of the water but couldn't see Hyeonju.

Mark opened his mouth.

I closed my eyes and started to walk towards Mark.

"C'mon, let's go home." I said in a quiet voice.
