Land Of Sandirya

  Lizzy woke up to her mother's cajole on not waking up on time. Getting scolded by her mother had become a complete norm to Lizzy. She knew that her parents loved her, and these scoldings came only because they treated her as their own daughter.

  Lizzy was an adopted child who was given to an orphanage when she was one month old by her biological mother. When she was six month old, a kind couple who had attempted to have kids from many years adopted Lizzy. Just after a year after adopting Lizzy they got a child of there own. The couple, believed that they had a kid only because Lizzy's luck so they started to shower even more love on Lizzy. Lizzy's sister Misha did not know that her sister was adopted, so she treated Lizzy as her own sister. There parents never favored Misha over Lizzy, in fact sometimes Misha thought that Lizzy is the favorite child.

  Lizzy and Misha were inseparable and they were attending the same school as well.

  But now Lizzy has finished her schooling and was going for a college, which by the way she had to go to now. She woke up from her bed and got ready for college and left in a bus. On the bus she was very disappointed as there were no more seats left. Just then she saw a handsome boy, he got up and gave his seat for her. She sat and she could not help but stare at his cute face. The guy noticed that she is looking right at him, so he asked "Miss why are you looking at me" Lizzy then came out of her gaze and said "Thanks, fo... for the seat... seat" Then the boy looked away.

   Just then her stop came and when she came out of the bus the boy also dropped from the bus behind her, she was overjoyed thinking, "he is going to the same college." She ran to her bestie, Dana and told her everything about what happened in the bus, she said that he was very handsome, cute and sweet, and he would be the perfect match for her. Dana listened while nodding and dragged her into the class.

     In the class the teacher introduced a new transfer student who's name was Edward and Lizzy told Dana that it is the same bus guy. Edward sat in the front bench next to a classmate.

     At the end of the class the teacher gave an assignment which should be done in pairs, so Lizzy went to Edward and introduced herself then she offered to do the assignment with him, Edward scratched the back of his head and replied "Umm... Actually I have already partnered up with him" he pouted to the guy sitting next to him and said "And I am not interested in working with arrogant people". Lizzy was extremely embarrassed and walked back to her seat and complained about Edward to Dana and said "How dare he call me arrogant, actually why did he even think like that. I promise, I am not arrogant, and that is why I did not join the mean girls group when they offered me to..." Dana did not say anything she was genuinely sorry for Lizzy as she was actually not mean.

  At the lunch break when Lizzy and Dana sat alone on a table in the cafeteria, Edward came over and asked if he could join them, Lizzy without giving it a second thought replied "why dare joining the arrogant people's table if you cannot work with them?" Edward apologized profusly until they let him sit and then he spoke, "I am sorry, in my last school I have seen that all the pretty girls are arrogant so I thought you would also be arrogant" Lizzy did not answer, so Dana spoke, "Did you just call her pretty just to make her forgive you? not everyone our same and you should not judje a book by its cover" to which Edward says, "I know... I am sorry... I was too naive, and I apologize again, but.. I was telling the truth when I said that Lizzy is pretty I am not intending to butter her up... I am straight forward you know" Dana was too busy stuffing her face with food so Lizzy spoke, "Enough, I don't want you guys fighting and I forgive you Edward, but just remember I am not arrogant" Edward nodded while eating.

  Two days has passed since then and surprisingly Edward had joined Lizzy and Dana and these three had also become close friends and Lizzy's feelings for him grew stronger. One day at the cafeteria, when the three were sitting and having lunch Edward suddenly spoke, "Guys do you know anyone in this college named Liriana" to which both Lizzy and Dana were confused as they never heard that name before, "Who is Liriana?" Asked Lizzy to which he said, "A close friend of mine who got lost when we were younger, I am still searching for her", "Don't you have even one male friend?" Asked Dana with sarcasm to which Lizzy laughed.

  Edward was pretty serious about searching this girl but he had no other information about her except her name, this caught the attention of Lizzy and she decided to help, they searched everywhere they can and even after one month of searching, Liriana was not found.
