Just a little backstory for the storyline.

Kelly and Brandon are in the process of getting a divorce, but they still do everything together because they don't want the press to catch wind of their situation for the sake of their kids.

ANYWAYS!!! Enjoy and leave your comments because I like them.

As Kelly Clarkson arrived at the album release party, wearing a baby blue knee length dress her long blonde hair straightened and her makeup done, she scanned the room for familiar faces.

She spotted Blake Shelton, surrounded by his entourage, and made her way over to him. "Hey Blake, congratulations on the new album," she said with a warm smile.

"Thanks Kelly, it's good to see you here, you look beautiful!" Blake replied, pulling her into a quick hug.

Kelly then made her way to a table where her husband, Brandon Blackstock, was sitting with a group of people.

But as she approached, she noticed that he was in a foul mood. "Hey, babe," she said tentatively, taking a seat beside him.

"What?" Brandon snapped, not even bothering to look up from his phone. Kelly was taken aback by his tone.

 "Is everything okay?" she asked.

"No, it's not. This whole thing is a disaster," Brandon replied, still glaring at his phone.

"What do you mean?" Kelly asked, feeling increasingly uncomfortable.

"I mean this party. I can't believe I have to be here. And now I'm stuck at this stupid table with all these losers," Brandon spat, gesturing at the group of people around them.

Kelly was hurt by his words. "You know, it's not very nice to talk about people like that," she said quietly as she pulled her hands into her sleeves while looking down at her drink.

"Oh, come on Kelly. You know I'm just being honest," Brandon retorted.

Brett Eldredge, who had been sitting quietly at the other end of the table, spoke up. "Hey man, that's not cool. We're all here to celebrate Blake's album. You don't have to be such a jerk about it."

Brandon glared at Brett. "Who asked you, Brett? Mind your own business," he spat.

"No Brandon I don't think I will, you're not going to sit here and ruin everyone's fun because things didn't turn out how you wanted them. Also you talking to your wife like that doesn't make you any better of a man." Brett stated.

Brandon looked back up at Brett and scoffed, "Whatever" he said.

Kelly could feel her cheeks burning with embarrassment. She wanted to crawl under the table and disappear.

She knew that her husband could be difficult sometimes, but she had never seen him act this way in public before.

As the night wore on, Kelly grew increasingly unhappy.

She tried to make small talk with the people around her, but she couldn't shake the feeling that everyone was judging her because of Brandon's behavior.

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. "I think I'm going to head out," she said, standing up from the table.

"Fine," Brandon replied curtly, still engrossed in his phone.

Kelly walked out of the party, feeling humiliated and alone.

She couldn't help but wonder why she made the mistake of marrying Brandon.
