It was torture. You just couldn't wait for it to be the weekend already, not just because it meant two days off school and a chance to run away from all the teachers, but because it was the days you were going to be filming.

At first when you woke up, you thought it had somehow all just been a dream. However, seeing a text message on your phone off your dad made it all come back to you

"Remember Y/N, don't tell anyone"

How could you keep something like this a secret!? It was impossible to wipe the grin off your face, no matter how bad school was. Every second seemed to drag onwards, making all your lessons feel like marathons just to get through them. Keeping this secret bottle up inside you was hell. You felt like a champagne bottle that had been shaken, waiting to explode. But you kept true to your promise, biting your tongue when your friends had asked you where you were smiling a lot.

"Smiling. Me? No, I'm just being normal. That's what people do, isn't it?"

Of course your friends could see clearly through your lies. "Tell us Y/N, what's gotten you like this?", they pressed at you all day, even in the end cornering you in the toilets before one of your classes. Your lungs were practically bursting trying to keep the secret held in. Your eyes quickly darted around trying to find some means of escape, but to no avail. Hanging your head in defeat, you let out a long sigh. If it meant keeping your dad's secret, you'd have to tell them something 'worthy' enough to pass off your mood.

"Promise you won't tell?", you whispered. Both your friends nodded eagerly, but you knew their vow of silence would not be kept secret for very long. Biting the inside of your cheek, refusing to meet their eyes, you told them one of your little secrets.

"I read fanfiction", you blurted out. Well, it was one of your secrets, and one that you were a little guilty about having, but all the same. "That's no secret. We all read fanfiction, and there's nothing wrong with that. Come on Y/N, spill. What has got you all smiley and hot under the collar?". Of course your closest friend would say that. You suspected that she probably wrote fanfiction herself in secret, but she always denied the fact, saying she could never come up with those types of stories. Time for plan B.

"Yeah, well I read this one last night ... and it was a bit ... steamy", you managed to mutter, casting a glance at them. Instantly their eyes widened and then began the onslaught of questions. Who was in it? Was there any shipping? Etc, etc, etc. Thankfully, after what felt like hours later, they both let you slip off late to class, satisfied with your secret. You breathed a sigh of relief. At least it wouldn't be long now.

"Dad, I'm home!", you shouted as you sprinted in through the front door, dropping your bag at the door, racing through to the kitchen. You'd seen your dad's old car on the drive as you'd walked up to the house, and instantly wanted to bombard him with more questions about the weekend ahead. "Woah, steady there Y/N", he chuckled as he set his coffee down as you flung your arms around him. You frantically fired every question you could possibly think of at him, about the location, the actors, what was going to happen, everything. Only he didn't answer, but just passed over them, saying you'd find out.

"Anyway, I thought I might give you a little spoiler before tomorrow. Fancy a trip to the factory?", he asked, giving you a wink. You didn't need telling twice. Jumping into the car, both of you set off towards the factory where the car was being stored. Because it was the only one of it's kind around before it got released to the public at a later date, security was tight around the building. However, with a simple smile and a flash of his ID card, you and your dad strolled into the factory basement. Your dad already knew what was hiding underneath the black cloth in the centre of the room, the spotlight of light pooled around it, as he was the mechanic responsible for it for the shoot. He needed to be with it at all times in case something mechanically went wrong.

"Shall I let you do the honours Y/N?", he asked, gesturing towards it. You stretched out your hand, grasping the material before pulling it. It fell away to reveal the most beautiful car you'd ever seen. Its pristine white bodywork glistened in the light, the sleek lines making it look like it had been sculpted out of marble, not metal. The large black grill grabbed your attention, the light flicking off the badge on the front. "Wow", you whispered, completely in awe of the car. It was truly beautiful. You had this strange buzzing feeling in your stomach as you looked at it, a large smile growing on your lips. You just couldn't believe that you were standing here, right now, looking at this amazing brand new car that nobody in the world knew about yet.

"Unfortunately, I can't take it outside for a quick spin with you, but I can let you sit inside it", your dad chuckled as he watched your gob smacked face drop even more at the suggestion. The sleek black, leather interior was perfect, even as the door opened, you were hit with that new-leather smell which was delicious. Placing one foot in at a time, you gently eased yourself into the passenger seat. The seat seemed to wrap itself around you in comfort, your heart suddenly beginning to beat very quickly. You couldn't even produce words to sum up how you were feeling right now, just this high pitched squeak.

What felt like eternity, you soon had to head back home. Covering the car back over again with the cloth, and making sure to lock the door securely, both you and your dad climbed back into your car and made the long drive back home. Deep down inside you, you hoped that you'd get the chance to have a sit in the passenger seat in the Jag. You couldn't wait to hear it's engine roar like the animal it was named after.

Sneaking into the house, making sure not to wake your mum, you slipped under the covers of your bed, smiling more like a man mad than you cared to let on. You couldn't bare to sleep, knowing that in less than 24 hours you would be seeing that car again, along with the actors. You had completely forgotten to pester your dad again for the final actor who would be doing the ad alongside Kingsley and Strong. You hoped that they were sexy, just to match the car. You laughed aloud at the idea, but deep down hoped you were right.
