she exited out the message thread and walked on the side walk she stuffed her hands in her pocket cause it had gotten cold she just admired the streetlights at night.
she walked infront of the tanish building and digged into her pocket pulling out the 20 dollars isis gave her she walked to the door as a man held the door for her "thank you" she smiled to him

"hey caleel" layla smiled as she walked to an aisle she just observed the sauce glass bottles
She grabbed the sauce she was looking for and walked behind the line infront of the cashier she just listened to the argument that was going on between the cashier and a lightskin boy who had hes long hair in a back ponytail
"u really giving me this lighter for 20 when it says 10?" the boy argued
"ddot u didnt only get a lighter" the cashier caleel said eyeing all the snacks the kid had in his arms
"whatever it's cool my heart." the boy said as he threw a 20 at the cash register and walked out

and ran right back to her apartment she unlocked the door with her key and closed the door behind
