after she landed she just took a uber to erin is house cause she knew if she was around meli and yomi she would've seen everyone else
layla knocked on the door and once she did she stood back waiting for it to get opened
the door knob shook until the door swung open with erin in a black tight dress
"please tell me this is a dream" Erin gasped looking at layla up and down
"I wish it was too" layla chuckled
"oh my gosh! come in please" Erin squealed moving to the side
once she did layla walked inside her house looking around smelling a nice perfume hit her nose
"you dressed in all black.. you going to the funeral?" layla said
"yes I have to I can't miss it for jay you know" erin said
"mhm" layla said while nodding her head
"yeah.. when u get back?" erin said
"I actually ran away to attend the funeral" layla said
"layla.." Erin said
"I couldn't do it anymore rin my own dad was basically holding me hostage" layla said
"well does he know?" Erin said
"yes him and my mom won't stop blowing up my phone" layla said
layla just sat her bag down on the couch then sat down beside it looking down
"this is fucking crazy your whole life took a complete turn" erin said sitting right next to her then rubbing her shoulder
"I know is like a damn movie all I wanted to be was happy.." layla said
"and your still gonna get your happy ending." erin said
"that's not happening e notti done already left me I thought after the hospital we were gonna be back to being the happiest couple living our lives but that took a twist" layla said
"I know I heard everything your gonna be okay" erin said
layla shook her head feeling tears run down her eyes making erin pull her close and wrap her arms around her
erin sat there letting the girl cry in her arms feeling the wet tears get on her shoulder
"im here it's gonna be okay" erin mumbled rubbing layla's back
