DESTINY, AS IF IT WERE FIXED

Start from the beginning

FOR A BOY whose family refuses to name their children after anything other than constellations, Sirius Black sure holds a grudge against the stars and the fate supposedly attached. Which, in retrospect, is probably the only reason why he's failed astronomy in just about every way possible. It seems that, in the six years and counting Professor Sinistra has taught him, absolutely nothing has stuck in his mind.

Turns out, it only takes Josephine Potter to ignite Sirius's interest in astronomy. Against all odds, she's completely reinventing his view of the stars. Well, she would have, if not for the gaps in her otherwise infallible memory and the constant blackouts she's started experiencing, not to mention that all of a sudden, Sirius is avoiding her like the plague.

Her brother James, the ever persistent matchmaker, obtains only one conclusion: he's in love!
