It has been about a couple of days since the GMOD incident. Nobody remembered what happened, except me. Even then, I could only remember a few important details. I could never have brought myself to ask if the others had remembered, and it had felt like I was keeping a massive secret, so I decided that I needed to leave the server.
"You're… leaving?" Abyss asked.
Abyss was the first person I told I was leaving, but I didn't tell her why.
"Yeah. I am. I have… uh stuff I need to do." I quickly responded.
"The Morgan Fanclub is going to be without their first owner."
"Abyss, I leave the Morgan Fanclub in your hands." I shivered at the thought.
I was going to leave without telling the others goodbye, but a voice in my head told me otherwise. So, I had begun typing an impromptu speech.
I have a serious announcement. Today, I leave the Fanclub.
I have something that I gotta do. It'll be a long journey, but I know if I do this, a lot of questions I have now will be answered.
One day, my friends, if fate allows me, I will return with my newfound knowledge. I hope that I get that chance, someday. I love all of you, truly.
After proofreading my text, I quickly sent the message and pinged everyone. I saw many reactions, most wishing me good luck or begging me to stay.
"Good luck with whatever you're doing :what1: :what1:" Frod said.
"We'll miss you, Junpei!" Olivia exclaimed.
I smiled softly before finally closing my computer screen. After that, I began packing my things, stuffing everything that could fit into my bag. After 30 long minutes of packing my things, I looked around my room one last time before closing the door and leaving the house.
"I can't go back now." I told myself.
I grabbed a pipe bomb from my bag and threw it through my window, blowing it up instantly. As my house burned in flames, I walked away, beginning my search for mankind's biggest mystery.
