Gosh this is sooo embarrassing. I wanted to get on Lani and fly away. Far far away.

Just then we came to a stop.

A pathway was made in the group of people. Two boys were headed towards us. If people instantly moved out the way like they did, these boys we're definitely important.

They walked past us, circling around us. Lo'ak and Neteyam did the i see you sign. I felt stupid for not doing it so I did it.

Usually they would do it back, but these boys didn't. Rude as hell. All they did was stare us down.

"Easy. Just be cool." Jake said lightly.

They looked down at me, then back to Lo'ak and Neteyam. They came behind us, looking at Lo'ak and Neteyam still.

My eyes followed them. They were both looking down at their tails. Oh here we go.

"Look what is that? Is that supposed to be a tail?" The crowd began to laugh.

I stared down the boys, watching them size me up.

I scoffed. I looked away, seeing Lo'ak and Neteyam's heads turn. I followed where they were looking to see a girl getting out of the water.

She flung her hair out of her face. She was so beautiful. Lo'ak said I looked like the goddess.

Goodness gracious.

They both didn't stare for long though. They both looked away. For some reason I felt sort of jealous in a way?

Seeing them both looking at her and not me made me irritated. Why was I mad? I didn't even like them. At least I think....

"How are they supposed to swim?" The boys pointed at Neteyam and Lo'ak's tails.

The girl then came, swatting one of the boys hands. "Do not! Rotxo, Ao'nung." She warned them.

The look the boy gave her almost made me laugh. She then looked over at us.

"Hey." Lo'ak nodded.

The girl happily smiled, walking away. Did he really just say hey? I rolled my eyes.

"P.A. You okay?" Neteyam whispered to me.

"Yeah I'm fine." I whispered back. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm okay, just except the fact my heart is in my ass. I think maybe you should call me P.A instead, because I feel like I'm about to have one." Neteyam whispered.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"What's so funny?" Lo'ak whispered in my other ear, making me whip my head towards him.

"Oh nothing, you wouldn't get it." I slightly smiled.

I could see the confusion on his face. He definitely thought me and Neteyam were flirting. Would I call it flirting?

No.

We were just laughing at a stupid joke he made. Nothing special.

His mouth opened like he was about to say something, but our heads all turned to look at the people coming in on sky things. They weren't Ikrans.

They flew over our heads, making everyone duck. I didn't have to though. I just watched them fly over us as a man called out.

The thing then flew in the water, beginning to swim. This thing could swim and fly?! Two in one?! No fair!

The man began walking towards us. He was a bit taller than Jake.

"Olo'eyktan." The man said.

Well that's definitely something to say to someone when you first see them.
