i walked as fast i could down the hall to the elevator. it was 8:05. why was i always late i chuckled a little.

i got into the lobby where all the other drivers were. "it's about time wolff" geroge says. all the others are laughing. i join the group and we start walking to the pub.

i was talking to lando and charles. "you are an idiot for not wearing a jumper or coat lena" lando chuckled.

"believe me i know. it's freezing. i thought it would still be warm" we all laughed

"here take my fleece tesoro" (darling) charles says while taking his fleece off.

"are you sure" i take it hesitantly.

"of course. you need it more than i do" he gives me a reassuring smile.

i put it on. it is so comfy and it smells just like him.

"thank you charl"

we continued walking. me charles and lando just chatting away. when we got to the pub we all sat down. i went and sat next to lewis. there was an empty seat next to me and i noticed charles walking quite quick to sit next to me.

"vuoi sederti accanto a me?" (eager to sit next to me?)
i say to charles.

"of course tesoro" he says as i hand him back his fleece.

"alright guys text your drink order to the group and i'll get the first round" kevin says while standing up. i message thatchers my favourite.

"so how does the paying for drinks work?" i say to charles and lewis.

"well you can volunteer to pay for the first few rounds and as soon as there are no more volunteers we start from the top of the championship and work our way down to the rookies." charles says. lewis pipes in "since your a rookie you should be safe and we might leave before it gets to you. but usually if people are in the middle where the night will be coming to a close they will volunteer because everyone starts light but then starts to choose vodka and stuff. you know the expensive stuff"

"okay so i should just leave it because it probably wont get to me anyways?" i ask sort of understanding it.

"yeah pretty much" charles says.

kevin comes back with the drinks gradually. he gives me my drink. "thanks kevin" everyone says as he gives them their drink.

"you look great by the way" charles says while smiling at me.

"aww thanks" i smile at him.

we just sit and talk. everyone is getting drunker. we're on the 5th round now. charles round is next. "okay guys im off to get this round we getting the same?" everyone nods.

"hey will come and help you" i say while standing up with him.

we walk up to the bar. "can i get the same as last round please" the bartender gets to work. i lean against the bar and charles stands infornt of me.

"you have amazing eyes" i say to him

"thanks tesoro" he says with a smile. suddenly someone pushes past charles and he knocks into me.
