3rd person POV:

Tord, after the many horrific events of the day, sat down to indulge on his uncompleted pile of papers. Paperwork wasn't the easiest or the funniest way to spend your time but it had to be done. He sighed as he picks them up, looking for a reason to get out of this.

(Tom's POV:)

Walking down the hall, I stumble upon Red Leader's door open just a smudge, so I peek in. As usual he's busy at work. When does he not work? Oh right I came here to tell Tord about the new experiment! He was really excited about this, and frankly I am too. So I slowly open the door and stand in his doorway. I knock on the doorframe to attract Tord's attention.

(Tord's POV:)

I look up after hearing the rapping and sees Tom. What a surprise. So asking  him why he was here was all I could do."Ah, Tom, what brings you here?" Tord says as Tom responds "Sir, it's about the new experiment, it seems to be a success sir!" Tom seemed a bit over joyed as he spoke, how odd. I stand up and walk over to Tom and give him a pleased smile, this was amazing news, so much could be done with this new technology. We began walking towards the lab when we heard crashing, and the sound of people screaming coming from the room.

3rd person POV:

The floor was covered in glass and papers. People were rushing towards the door as Tom and Tord tried walking in. They both get inside and witness the scene in front of them as disaster seemed to play out. There was a portal, it was sucking things inside of itself, taking many things, including the blueprints regarding it's creation. As the swarm of scientists exit the room, Tord pushes through to find out what was happening. The brute force of the portal's suction swept him off of his feet and left him flying into the vortex, with Tom following suite, going after Tord. They both watch as the portal closes behind them as they're left stranded in a random place in time, they seemed to be disoriented as they try to figure out where they were.

Author's Notes:
I know this is short, especially for the first chapter, but I'm quite new and I don't have many ideas, I just wanted to start out an interesting storyline and hope for the readers to maybe comment some ideas, yes I do plan on writing some smut later on it just won't be this early in the story. Thank you for reading and please not negativity in the comments this is a safe space for everyone, hope you guys enjoyed!
